Ron,

I was just wondering...are all three movies on one disc, or are two on one disc and one on another, or are all three on separate discs?

Went to 2 today (was mostly looking at food, but checked the dvd's. They didn't have the food items I was looking for either....).

Pearl Street: basically nothing. The food shelves were all but empty also.
Bridgeport: a TON of 5-10 yo TV box sets. Nothing else worth mentioning. They had torn out part of the electronics section & put in a really small refrigerated & frozen food cooler that was empty.

It's 2 discs. The Legacy and The Sentinel are on one disc, and Sssss is on its own.

I saw a second restock of the WB box sets today. Of course, they got rid of the cardboard display, so everything is now on the wire rack. While it's nice to see it very full, there isn't much room for new stock. How many restocks on these WB sets are we going to see?

Must be my age (56) but what really bothers me about these boxes is imo, they're all junk. I miss the Warner classic boxes bl used to get!

Re: Big Lots Part 10 - List your FINDS here (NO trades)

My BL in Boyertown,Pa. received two new cardboard boxed Warner TV set displays facing back to back. I finally picked up the 'OC' season 4, which I have been looking for since the Warner displays arrived months ago.

They originally received one boxed display with a minor replenishment a few months later, which were blended in with the regular DVDs. These two new displays were unexpected and at 2 for $14 were a steal.

Re: Big Lots Part 10 - List your FINDS here (NO trades)

Found a store that had the Justice League BD ($3). Also, picked up the Hannibal Steelbook for $5, but will probably return it.

There was a whole shopping cart of clearance DVDs. Each marked down individually. There was no rhyme or reason to it. There were things that were $2.50, $2, $1.50 and one triple feature marked down from $7 to 70 cents.

I only bought the first season of Boston Legal for $5 (originally $10). I had hoped that it might even ring up for less at the register, but no further discount was given.

I haven't seen the huge clearances here. We had a really small clearance around 5 months ago.

It would be nice if all stores would take the time to do this. Most of the clearance titles are just sitting on the shelf with their original price tag, which means they're not going to move.

Out of curiosity, did you ever take my advice when looking through stuff? I know you keep saying that there's no clearance stuff there, but I would think most stores must have some older stock that's been marked down. Of course, in most cases, the only way to know is to see what it rings up at the register.

It was definitely way better than the "different color bar code" clearance titles mixed in with all the rest.

No. I haven't. The titles at the 2 stores closest to me aren't worth it unless there's a huge sign. I don't feel like getting into an argument with employees over movies I don't care about.

Even when they did have signs it was a mess, & most of the employees are new (I have no history with them).

I don't see why you'd need a sign or get into an argument. If they are any older titles that you're interested in, just take them to the register and tell them you think they might be on sale, but that you don't want them if they ring up at full price. If they don't ring up at a price that you're willing to pay, ask them to take it off. Makes more sense for the register to decide what you buy than to argue for a price adjustment. You should also take my list of SKUs because it can certainly help knowing what titles definitely should be marked down. Of course, if you find a SKU on the list and it rings up full price, then it proves that I'm wrong.

I feel like a jerk for continuing to bring this up, but I feel so frustrated that everyone seems to be ignoring my advice. I mean, I realize that you may not find a lot of good movies, but they are cheap and who doesn't love cheap?

Re: Big Lots Part 10 - List your FINDS here (NO trades)

I found seasons 1-9 of Two and a half Men for only 7.00 each. They were listed as 8.00 but I somehow got 1.00 reduction each set. I didn't buy season 9 and you know why Ashton

Anyway I got all 8 seasons for 56.00 and no tax. I love DE. I bought these at the Milford store

Lucky! My local BL has a very comprehensive restock of everything EXCEPT Two and a Half Men.

Went to Big Lots Sunday morning and there lots of Warner Bros Television set DVD and some of good DVDs and I pick up Tin Cup (1996) & BASEketball (1998).

There 2 price in one of my local BL with Tin Cup with $3 and $5 and lucky me getting $3... go figure!

I picked up season 5 of Two & a Half Men because it was not a cut out. Has anyone seen any other season of the show that wasn't a cut out?
