Re: Amazon Black Friday Week Deals
Yeah, my disc 2 from the Dracula set is royally screwed up. Could only get one film to play with minor skipping. That's the reason why I have never seen the Spanish version of Dracula. Never had a problem with the other sets.
I'm considering to give it another shot and replace my Dracula set with this sale. My defect came from the bust gift set.

I'm not seeing Tudors anywhere in Amazon's BF calendar. In what time slot were they listed?
I did notice that Amazon has Season 3 on sale right now for $14.99.

It was supposed to be $14.99 starting at 4:30 AM PST in a Lightning Deal before it was removed.
EDIT: Nevermind its a Lightning Deal RIGHT NOW if anyone is interested for $14.99. It is incorrectly coded by Amazon and doesn't appear under the Movie and TV Lightning Deal drop down, but its right there if you view All of the ongoing Lightning Deals.

I want to pick up Dexter and the Tudors, but didn't Target have the first season of each for $8.99 around Christmas last year? I was hoping for a similar deal this year.

Re: Amazon Black Friday Week Deals
Just picked up both Modern Family and GLEE first seasons for $31.98 total, and I'll qualify for the $10 Gleebate because I already own the first part of the Glee season.
Modern Family is currently $19.99 with a lightning deal. I added that to my cart.
Glee was in my personal gold box for $18.99 and I also added that to my cart.
There's a buy both promo that deducts $7.
So, after the rebate check, I'll have paid $21.98 for both shows! If Glee is not a gold box deal for you, then your total will be $1 more.
Item(s) Subtotal: $49.98
Shipping & Handling: $0.00
Best Value Savings:-$7.00
Gold Box Discount: -$1.00
Lightning Deal: -$10.00
-----
Total Before Tax: $31.98
Estimated Tax To Be Collected: $0.00
Grand Total: $31.98

Re: Amazon Black Friday Week Deals
So, "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" season 1 & 2 is currently $9.99 and seasons 3 and 4 will be $9.99 lightning deals tomorrow. I think that's better than the deal last year with seasons 1-4 + Xmas special for around $45 if I remember correctly, so I want to get into that series finally, but I keep wanting to wait for season 5 to be included or unless there is a great deal on 1-5 + special, maybe wait for a deal on the entire series one day when it is over..

The most recently released seasons of any show hardly ever drop significantly around the holiday season. It's part of the hook. Buy seasons 1-4 at a discounted rate, then they want you to pay $20-35 for the latest season on DVD. You might as well jump on any deals for older seasons now if they really are cheap, which these Sunny deals are.
