*sigh*

Today a new DT opened in Rialto, CA.

I got there roughly 11:30am, almost empty. Talked to one of the employees, someone came when the store opened and bought nearly all the inventory.

What was left was crap.

Just grand.

Forget if I've mentioned it in this thread, but the Frederick area Dollar Trees have been largely dry of this new batch. However, I've picked up several 25 cent DVDs there in the kids sections, to use for Best Buy trade ins.

The real find would be the "Tides Of War" unedited version of this film.

I don't think anything can help this movie.

I hit two DC area stores today. One was all sold out of DVD's and the other only had 1408. About 10 fullscreen and 1 widescreen which I bought.

I meant to mention Dollar Tree has a new spinoff store called Deal$ and they have stuff that is more than a dollar. I haven't seen a lot of dvds at the one I've been to(don't know how many there are) but for $3 I did find the 2009 Sherlock Holmes film. But, I only saw about 20 DVDs up by the register...

I have this dvd. Bought it at a garage sale. About 12 to 14 dvds in a shoe box. Paid $3 for the box. "Tides of War" came in a cardboard sleeve. I've never watched it. Is it any good?

I'm watching it right now. But now that you mention it, I didn't see a lot of this tile in the 5 or so DTs I checked.

I found several copies almost two weeks ago.

Today I went and saw nothing but 1 copy of The Great Debaters 1-disc, and 6 copies of the Barack Obama DVD. I also saw a dvd of a cartoon series called F.T.P.D. (Fairy Tale Police Department). That must of been in the store since 2007, when I last saw it.

I did really like his movie "House of the Dead", i actually seen that one at the cheap theatres back when it was out. Some of them can be campy fun.

Thanks...

(and no, I won't really be wasting gas driving there--I'll be in the area anyway)
