I found 2 not on your list. Net 2.0 and Truth and Consequences

I regret getting Sweet and Lowdown. This is one that has been changed by Sony to Full Screen. The earlier release had wide.

Add this one to the list: Happy Tree Friends: Winter Break

Nothing new to add to the list; however, I found mine in a buggy right inside the doors. I don't know how many they had started with, but they looked to be pretty picked over by the time I got there around lunch today (Saturday). Still, I ended up with Metropolis, Ned and Stacey: The Complete First Season, and Beautiful People: The Complete Series. I'm pretty happy.

It's worth $2.70 in Amazon credit.

well, I'm SOOOO happy it worked out well for everyone....but me! ;) Went to the Lovejoy GA store at 4 pm yesterday, they had about 20 dvds left, half being 1408. I asked if the wire rack was full earlier in the day, she said it had been, and they weren't put out til noon. Someone must have grabbed 40-50 at once. Then went to the store in Griffin GA later and they had even fewer, and I bet they had put them out earlier in the week, since the area for them was so small....oh well...

Re: Dollar Tree DVDs

Found a few more:

RFK
Scary Movie 4 Unrated - Widescreen
Young Cesar

Still can't find these 3 dvds and they all received high ratings at Amazon...

Butcher, The
Pandemic
Soul Assassin

I hit every Dollar Tree I knew of in north Jersey last week looking for Party Of Five.
Not a one to be had.
As some have pointed out - it may not necessarily be that the stores didn't get them, but that they may just have been wiped out before I got there.
:(

If there's a flea market near by, you should forget about finding them. Some jerk came in and bought them up at mine and selling them at flea market anywhere between $3 - $10 each.

I stopped at a DT late last week and got 7 items, including Alex Rider, Beautiful People, Kaena, Metropolis, Truth or Consequences N.M., Punch Drunk Love, & Little Secrets. My regular DT (which I dissed above) ultimately got one measly little box (even the clerk was surprised to get so few) with one item I bought , Running with Scissors. Just like Big Lots, DT is a total crapshoot.

This morning I dropped by the Pittsfield MA DT, and they still had 2 rows of dvds. I found a copy of Flakes (Zooey Deschanel), which I was looking for, but most of what they had were copies of 1408 full screen. I wonder if those will sell.

They have Flakes?!?!?!?!?! I hadn't noticed that in Chard's list before. Oh man, I totally must find that DVD!!! Didn't notice that amongst the many titles I've looked through. I watched it on Netflix a while back. Does it have any extras?

I haven't watched it yet, but the back cover says it has deleted scenes and a trailer. It's a widescreen version and is not rated. Also, some guy says that "Zooey Deschanel can do no wrong!"

Does anyone know if the dvds in the thin cases ring up for a quarter or a dollar?

Quarter Tree?

I do like the movie, but it isn't good just because of her. The other zany characters make it enjoyable. Plus, the subject matter of cereal connoisseurs is very amusing. I wonder if people like that really exist. I'm sure they do, but maybe to a lesser extent...

I don't know if I'm a cereal connoisseur, but I'm really into cereal. Seriously. That was one of the things that drew me to the movie.

I went to the Midwest City, OK store last night and there was nary a DVD in sight. Actually, there were 4 or 5 of the thin-packed public domain titles in a bin in the electronics section, but those have been there since the store opened.

Re: Dollar Tree DVDs

At mine these are basically all gone now. No display at the front of the store anymore.
Just a few titles put back in the DVD bin in the regular spot.

One thing is for sure these went very quickly.

Re: Dollar Tree DVDs

Stopped in at the Greenfield MA store again today, and there were zero DVDs. I even asked. I'm guessing that someone came in and bought all 30 copies of 1408 (FS).

Re: Dollar Tree DVDs

DVDs never last long at Dollar Tree, whenever they get them in. Too many resellers and plain DVD collectors will buy up every single title at $1 each.

I picked up an extra copy of "Flakes" just in case...

I went to 4 stores yesterday, along my long drive home from work. 2 had NO DVD's left whatsoever, and 2 had scraps. No Flakes. I'm hitting one last store today during my lunch hour, basically in the ghetto. I figure if any store might have it still, that would be the one. But if they don't, I'll certainly PM you later today! Thanks...

(and no, I won't really be wasting gas driving there--I'll be in the area anyway)

Some of the titles showing up in this current batch are, in fact, remnants from the last batch of dvds that DT had put out...

Alex Rider: Operation Stormbreaker, Great Debaters, The - 2 disc set & 1 disc, Punch Drunk Love, Running with Scissors, Scary Movie 4, Starship Troopers 2, The Man Who Loved Women, USS Poseidon: Phantom Below were a few I remember but there might have been others...
