Delta Farce

Wildflowers
The Stone Merchant
Clover
Do You Believe In Miracles?
I Do...Knot
Four Christmases

Also, some PC games with Best Buy stickers, some of which aren't shovelware:

Warlock: Master of the Arcane
Sacred Gold
Disciples II Gold

But perhaps most interestingly, a bin of GIT CD and DVD comic book archives:

Archie: Bronze Age Series
Jughead: Bronze Age Series
Scooby-Doo! Classic Comics Vol. 1
Star Trek Movie Comic Book Collection
Classic Looney Tunes Comics Vol. 1
Classic Transformers Digital Comic Books

Where were these stocked? Problem I always have with DT stores, and these cool finds, is there never seems to be logical place on where they put them. I found one batch of blu-rays they had in stock for a while on an end cap next to the registers. Nothing in the "electronics" area where they told me they "always" put the movies.

I agree, it is a problem. Since they keep selling out, it apparently only bothers us!

Re: Dollar Tree DVDs

Their stores aren't that big, so I usually just walk every aisle, paying attention to the endcaps. Besides DVDs in random places, I've stumbled upon deals like Mio water enhancers.

Re: Dollar Tree DVDs

I recently found that one of the cheaper ways to buy spare Blu-ray cases is simply to buy $1 Blu-rays from Dollar Tree. They tend to sell crap movies in good, sturdy BD cases. You can swap 'em with your good movies that came in those unsturdy recycled cases. House your good BD's in good cases and sell the crap BD's with crap cases to Secondspin.

The Dragon Pearl (Blu Ray)
Diary of a Wimpy Kid-Rodrick Rules (Blu Ray)

I saw a bunch of DVDs, but no blu-rays. I picked up:

Crystalstone / The Boy and the Pirates
Colditz

They had some Mill Creek titles. I thought about getting a few of their fitness collections and a Rin Tin Tin collection, but passed on them.

I checked two stores this morning, one had a sign in the window advertising dvds and blu-rays and the other had nothing. I feel like these stores aren't getting as much as they used to for these sales. They used to be able to fill up the item of the week table, now they only fill about half of it. I didn't find any blu-rays, but I picked up:

Afghan Luke
ALF: Animated Adventures - 20,000 Years in Driving School and Other Stories
Animal/Shooting Gallery (Ving Rhames double feature)
Another Happy Day
Deadtime Stories vol 2
Dragnet 1968 vol 1
The Best of the Best of the Electric Company
GI Joe The Mass Effect
Haven
Laurel Canyon
My Sassy Girl
Mysteria
Next Stop, Greenwich Village
Table One
Ultimate Rin-Tin-Tin
War Flowers

Re: Dollar Tree DVDs

Didn't think they would be putting these out today, since the truck here unloads on Friday and yesterday I asked if they had them and guess what they said ...

Anyway rushed over there when I saw that is was THIS week's DOTW. First only had DVDs (or someone had grabbed all the BD). Second one was just putting them out and I think I was the first to grab any. No Diary of a WK, but did get Ninja on BD and the rest that have been posted.

http://www.amazon.com/Ninja-Blu-ray-...keywords=ninja

Snagged some DVDs, but nothing spectacular (except for Deadtime Stories - finally found V1 at the 3rd store I went to - lots of V2)

Re: Dollar Tree DVDs

I found a fair number of DVD's & BR's at one store I checked, none at the other. The store with the much larger selection had them in the regular DVD "area", the other on an endcap at one of the registers.

I think that it's all stuff mentioned before, except Sweetwater, where there were 4-5 of the DVD in addition to about that many of the BR. That stood out to me, as it's still $12.96 (with Vudu) over at WM. Anyway, thanks to everyone for the heads-up.

The selection was better last time. But I was most happy to get Sweetwater BD for January Jones nude scenes.

Stopped by another Dollar Tree today in Long Beach and they had a display right when you walk in the door. Only one BD left (Pete's Christmas) but lots of DVDs that were mentioned by others above.

I've checked three different Dollar Trees the last week, and nothing until tonight on a repeat visit to my local Frederick store.

They had a few dozen DVDs but no BDs. I. Did pick up one interesting DVD though, a bonus disc only for I Know Who Killed Me. Decided to race to the other local store before they closed in 5 minutes and found a bunch of DVDs and exactly two remaining BDs; the Vudu combo packs of Sweetwater and Pete's Christmas.

Also picked up a Joe Hill hardcover horror novel and a couple graphic novels from a new display.

Anything interesting? A while ago I saw one of the CrossGen compendias and I've been hoping to see more because I'm missing one of them. I can never remember which one though.

It was mostly Speed Racer compilations, and a couple other licensed things like movie adaptations. Only about 20 books total at the one Frederick store where I saw them.

The same Speed Racer books I mentioned on 08-20-14?

Re: Dollar Tree DVDs

I viewed the movie 'Above & Beyond' which was an excellent portrayal of male civilian pilots ferrying crude small range two engine non-pressurized bombers across the North Atlantic from Newfoundland to England, because the German subs were destroying the planes on the ship convoys. The movie is in two parts roughly 1.5 hours each. The second part of the movie breaks up half way through leaving one hanging for the ending. For a dollar I am not demanding my money back but was disappointed when the DT sold out of the flick.

Did anyone else have the same problem or was my DVD one of a kind?

Today I picked up a couple of books and got a coupon for 10% off any $10+ purchase. The coupon is only valid on this Sunday (November 23). I'm not sure if you can only get one with a purchase or you can just go in and grab one.

Re: Dollar Tree DVDs

I found some DVDs this morning. They must have had one box that they put out on the front table next to a bunch of books. It looked like they had been out for maybe a day or two. I picked up:

Beyond the Trophy
Bingo/Race the Sun
The Devil's Tomb
Gentlemen Broncos
Land of the Blind
The Maiden Heist
The Third Wish

I think I saw another Mill Creek double feature, Sitting Ducks season 1, Wild Hearts and a couple other titles.
