This snuck up on me, not that I buy so much from it anymore. Just ordered Saving Private Ryan BD for $17.15. Missed amazon's $16.49 price yesterday. For 66 cents more, I'll deal.

Not sure if there's anything else I want right now. Want to save some pennies for the Criterion sale at B&N. I also snagged the Beatles mono box in the amazon lightning deal earlier, so I can't really complain about not getting good deals.

It's on sale sometimes for $25. I've never seen it sell for less... maybe $20 once, but I can't pin-point when. This is basically the best price you will find on it so if your able to get it now it's a decent deal.

Here is a quick tip for those of you wanting True Blood Season 2, and you want it at the $29.92 price...

I called them (800-264-5076), out of curiosity more than anything, and talked to customer service. I simply told them I'd like to place an order and told them what item. They asked for the item number, HBD012011, and when they pulled it up it actually came up for them in their system at the $29.92 price. They processed my order at that price and will ship once they get it back in stock.

I mentioned how it is advertised at that price on their site but on the actual item page and when you put it in the cart to checkout it comes up at $39 instead. They said they had no clue why that would be, as it should only be $29 since that is the price they see when they look it up using the item number.

If you want to do this tonight then call ASAP, as their offices close at 8pm est I do believe.

I just went back and checked the website. I ordered 15 dvds and 2 Blu-ray at 3:01 ET and only two things were marked with the red sale tag but the code worked for everything. Checking now, the red tag is on everything I ordered. So I guess they hadn't fully updated the site when I placed my order.

Absolutely agree. There are deals to be had at DD, but not so many of them and at higher prices. DD is just one of several leading sources now, no longer the slam-dunk best.
