In either case use Firefox + NoScript. Forbid *all* Java except DeepDiscount. Much faster, less wonkiness.

If you don't want to update your Wishlist or edit the cart you can "forbid" DD until you do and the site works a bit faster with fewer reloads after changing views, etc.

example:

Allow DD: Changing to 48 view...
wait...
Change to alpha sort...
wait...
now see the titles the way you want.

Forbid DD: Change to "48 view", pick "alpha sort" from the dropdown, click OK. One reload/refresh... Much faster.

Just keep in mind that if you forbid DD *all* auto opening boxes, dropdowns from the banner manu, etc. do not work so there can be a bit more clicking, but I find that flashy kind of junk much more annoying than useful.

Well, my order from the 10th finally shipped, but I ordered another DVD today. I rented Blood and Bone. That movie is awesome! Amazon wants $18.99 and the cheapest you can grab it new through the marketplace is like $13 after shipping, etc. $11.04 on DD! I had to jump at that price.

I put in one order for American Dad Vol. 5 back when the sale first started. It shipped on the Thursday before release date so I thought "cool, maybe I'll get it on release day". 9 Days later, I got nothing. Not sure why it would take like 11 days (if I get it on Monday) but I'll get it when I get it I guess.
