When I began diving into this set last month, I remembered your post. I definitely noticed the same 'metallic' issues you experienced with the voices. It usually occured when D'Argo spoke (sometimes Aeryn), so at first I thought it was some effect the sound engineers put on the voices.

It's minor and infrequent (I can see why some viewers might overlook it) but the issue is there in those early episodes of the set. After about the third disc, the problem seemed to dissipate and I haven't had any issues with the rest of the series. I think it's probably a mastering issue than a case of defective discs.

Im waiting for Farscape in the 40's.... Never seen the series, hope its worth the wait.
