The few discs I've bought didn't scan well (nero software error scanning) & oddly Warner found a way to hide the actual disc manufacturer from the several software programs I own.

So answer is: I have had many (most) mass market branded blank discs fail from between 6 months - 2 years, but I did not give the Warners enough time to find out due to the scan results; I copied them immediately to quality blanks (or at least the closest there is these days to quality) & tossed the originals.

If you try to apply to an item that is already sale priced (such as the noir films that are currently on sale for $14.95), the coupon will only get you free shipping.

I got Jetsons Meet the Flintstones which has a 25% off tag on it, but was still able to get $5 off.

I got an email on the 20th that they've remastered Don't Be Afraid of the Dark and added a commentary track by "horror pros". Since I already bought it, which is why I got the email, I got a code so I get get it for $4.99.

Is this something new or have they done it with others?

I got the same email. Kind of ticked they didn't just release all that the first time, instead of making pay another $5 (PLUS shipping!) to get it again.

They also did this with the Debbie Reynolds/Donald O'Connor musical "I Love Melvin."

They didn't have a remake hitting theaters back then.

I finally got Night Court S5 for a friend for Xmas at a decent price.

I'm still waiting for a decent print of Trial Of Mary Dugan (Shearer version) , which is one of my 3 holy grails (the other 2 are a decent print of Homunculus which is said to exist & Murnau's Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde with Lugosi which is said to be lost).

F.W. Murnau made a version of Jekyll & Hyde, with Lugosi? I've never heard or read of such a film. I'd like to see the screen tests of Lugosi in his Frankenstein make-up, which are also presumed lost to the mists of time.

I have read that Lugosi played the butler. Again, it assumed to be 100% lost.

Moo, I would add to your list the lost film A DAUGHTER OF THE GODS and the apparently forever buried THE DAY THE CLOWN CRIED. And that's just for today. Tomorrow I would come up with different Holy Grails! Don't get me started.

Either it will be cremated with Lewis when he dies, or he's already prepared a commentary track and other special features for a posthumous release. It's can easily go either way.
