I've only used the Blockbuster Express kiosks once, but I never created an account. I don't think it's necessary to log in at all in order to use a code.

I just noticed that the RedBox at my local WM now has BDs finally. A lot cheaper than my local video rental store and better than waiting for a title to become available on Netflix.

Edit: So I went by my RedBox only to discover that it didn't really have any new releases. So do they have some kind of agreement with the studios similar to Netflix? This sucks.
