This was about 2 hours after the unpacked them so not sure if there were others available.

This was all of them, I believe. I picked all of these up, except for Gotham Knight, went with the Blu-ray for that one.

That's not a bad deal on the Jetsons set at all but just hope they release the remainder of the series.

The Jetsons: The Complete First Season is $18.99 on Amazon right now. And for what it's worth, the First Season is the original, classic season of The Jetsons. Seasons 2 and 3 were produced over 20 years later with the original voice cast. So you could really almost look at the First Season set as a Complete Series set in and of itself.

And unfortunately, with the way Warner Bros. has been handling its classic animated properties recently, the only way we see any more Jetsons on DVD will be through the Archive Program.

went to walmart last night around 10 pm.

found the dvd's but none of the warner bros stuff was there. No dark knight, no grand Torino, and no Wizard of Oz. what the hell happened did they have a separate display for the warner stuff? Was able to pick up:

Silence of the Lams and Ultimate Predator blu rays for 5 bucks each
office space and Jumper for 1.96
Family Guy vol 6 and Sons of Anarchy Season one for 12 bucks each

what happened with all the warner stuff?

Yeah, office space is full frame--a poor consolation prize, but it was something. Still confused as to what happened to the stuff(no dark knight, no grand Torino, and no Wizard of Oz.) I really wanted

Well dammit all. Apparently it was only a one day sale. Terminator (Lenticular) jumped back up to $12.86.

http://www.walmart.com/ip/10982617

It was only $2.50 on Black Friday til like 5AM Saturday morning. I should have picked that one up to go with my T2 Lenticular.

I guess now all prices and price matching will go back up to normal prices. Will there even be a Cyber Monday?

Re: Wal-Mart Bargains Thread #2

on black Friday I bought the following at the store in Milford DE.

all 5.00

Paranormal Activity

The kingdom

The Hangover

Terminator Salvation

knocked up

gone with the wind --two disk set. For a two disk set the extras suck

Wizard of OZ--two disk set

Grand Torino

for 1.96

Iron Giant

The Unforgiven

Sex in the City-the movie

I got these for 10.00 but please note they rang up as 12.00. I mistakenly told the checker that the sign read 10.00 and she believed me

Terminator-the Sarah Connner Chronicles 1
Terminator-the Sarah Connner Chronicles 2

They also had most of the Friends Seasons for 12.00. Vol 1-4 plus 7 and one more. I also thought those were 10.00 and almost bought them.

Went into Walmart for a few things tonight and I noticed the Black Friday standees were still up and rather full at my local store. Took a few TV sets and Blu-rays over to the scanner for the hell of it, and, wouldn't you know it, many of them were still ringing out at BF prices.

Terminator: Sarah Conner S1 and S2 -- $12.00
Community S1 -- $12.00
Bones: S1 -- $12.00

Went to Walmart today and bought Smokey and the Bandit (Pursuit Pack) for only $3.00. Cash register rang up $9.00, but I showed the guy who works there the price tag that says $3.00 and he gave it to me for that price. A real bargain for 3 movies! ;)

I too found some DVD BF leftovers that still ring up at $5:

Wizard of Oz
LOTR Fellowship
LOTR Two Towers (I found this first and put it back - not wanting it without the others, then found Fellow ship, and finally Return! Wish I found the Spidey 3 SE.)
LOTR Return of the King

And in the $5 bin:

Patton
Big
and Airplane for $8!

Just ran across a WWII display with all items supposed to be $5 each (turned out not quite true). Some included Longest Day, Patton, Thin Red Line, A Bridge Too Far, Diary of Anne Frank, South Pacific, 12 O'Clock High, Bridge at Remegan, Von Ryan's Express, The Great Escape, etc. Picked up 12 O'Clock High, Bridge at Remegan, Von Ryan's Express. Valkyrie was in there but rang up at $9, so I passed.

I found the first season of the Sopranos yesterday at my local Walmart. I thought it was strange because there was a spot on the tv show rack for it with a prce tag for $20 but I found it at the front of the dvd section with a different tag listing $12. It had a promo sticker on the front and a upc sticker over the one printed on the case, so it might be a YMMV situation.

Curious.

Is "Von Ryan's Express" and or "The Great Escape" the two disc SE?

Rome S1, Deadwood S1, and Sopranos S1 were all part of the black friday $12 sale, but they ended up as part of the section end caps and put out _before_ black friday in a lot of stores. Pretty cool as I didn't have to fight to score the only copy of Rome they had.

It's almost like Wal-Mart didn't get all their promo dvds at the same time as I've also saw "promo" stuff like Friday Night Lights S2, Office Season 1, Parks & Rec S1 and Two and a 1/2 Men S1 stuck in various displays as well.

Nope, it's "Airplane - the don't call me Shirely edition" with Leslie Nielson.

There are also two versions of Patton showing up for $5. A 2 disc SE and a singled disc version.
