Both charges appear on my account. I don't think they can mess with it after that...

however still worried about not recieving the first order confirmation via email.

If they cancel the orders, oh well. No biggie. Still a good deal if it does go through.

haha, yeah. This is better than the 24 sale at BB.

If everyone gets their orders fulfilled.. then yeah. Deal of the decade by far I think.

They can still cancel.

For me, I have the order confirm email, but no pending charge yet!

Perseverence!!

Got another order to go through, but it took LITERALLY like 20 refreshes per page.

still, i think even if there was EVER a chance any of our orders would actually be honored, the people ordering like 4x quantity of big sets are gonna tip em off and make em cancel everyone's. oh well...

If everyone gets their orders filled, maybe there will be a Borders going out of business sale!

I managed to place my order for all of Star Trek Deep Space Nine, the site kept crashing but I just kept hitting refresh over and over and I managed to get it through. Now all that remains to be seen is if they cancel it or not.

I've made orders at borders.com in the past. They are like Deep Discount-it sometimes takes several hours before receiving a confirmation e-mail.

That or they'll stick to just selling books.

Their site is so screwed up right now. I can't even add an item to my cart.

Took almost a half hour (and MANY MANY refreshes) to finally get an order through-- I just did a small one, Season 4 of the Office, which is out on Tuesday. Now I'll try to do a larger order.

They can't charge you for more than you agreed to pay.

I remember there was some big Amazon glitch where they had buy one get one on TV sets but you got like an unlimited amount or something.

The order processed, but they gave you the option of returning the product to them on their cost or being charged the full amount. Some guy here got like 200 sets or something.

I don't know how Borders works, though.

Got my order in finally for the Sarah Connor Chronicles and The Office: Season 3, but unfortunately I already have season 3 of the Office. As much time I spent trying to get this to work you think I would have noticed my error, but it wasn't until after I hit the submit order button that I realized what i had done.

If they already charged it you're fine.

Well...gave it a shot. I had about $210 selected that was going to cost around $50. I got through most of the checkout process just refreshing through the errors when finally they cleared out my shopping cart just before finalizing the transaction.
