70% doesn't work, either. I decided to put together an order of DVD's coming out that I want, and got to the checkout. Tried all of the codes, and they all come up invalid. Oh, well. Worth a shot. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.

yeah, THEN they've got problems. i fully expect (and accept) them cancelling orders, but they certainly cant ship an order and charge more than we authorized and agreed to on the "place order" screen.

i just did. See, the problem I have is the cc belongs to my mom and I have no way of checking if the order went through or not. (not for CS10001 but for the 70% off)

I'm trying to check my borders rewards to see if I have a pending charge but its not letting me log on. I also don't know if CS10001 worked....and if that was sarcastic sorry, i'm just so pissed right now.

I just got home, so I hadn't placed any orders yet. I jumped right to putting things in my cart and entering the 70% code when I got held up with the shopping cart 'feature' being disabled. When the cart came back, I put in the 70% code again and got this message:

Oops! Our records show that you've already used this promotion, therefore we are unable to apply it to your order.

Oh well, I'm not sure these are going to go through so I'm not that sad about missing out. It would've been nice, but it's ok.

I've been trying to get my order through for six hours! I can't get my shopping cart to come up. I see that, during that time, the total next to the red "Shopping Cart" button on the main page went from $27 to $162, so I assume, they removed the code from their end and are not allowing us in to complete the transactions.
This is the first time I attempted to use their site....and it'll probably be the last if I don't get this order through.
To those whose orders went through, is there a trick to this?

It would seem that the "deal" is done. The trick was to keep hitting refresh and cross all of your fingers and toes. Don't fret over it. There will most likely be mass cancellation emails on Tuesday.

Wow, wish I had checked the forums earlier. But seeing as they caught this very quickly, and it is Sunday night (thus the warehouse isn't shipping these right away), I'd be very surprised if these orders don't get cancelled. I wish you all luck, but don't get your hopes up...

Well here it is morning. Don't have a cancellation on either of the two orders I placed yet. Also still haven't recieved the email confirmation for the first order I placed, have one for the second. Charged my account so, we'll see.

As yet to be determined. A bunch of us at least got orders in at the discounted price. now we just wait for an eventual (but hopefully not) cancellation.

I agree. I've wasted hours since last night trying different codes and all the ones mentioned in this thread and NONE of them work.

Well, Some of us did succeed at getting one of the codes to work. So now it's only a matter of time before we see if these items ship or get canceled.

Last night, I got the 80% to work on the Summerslam Anthology set and the 70% to work on a textbook I need.

This thread is only half done. The second part will consist of everyone reporting on what became of their orders. We can lock it now :-)
