Are you sure those were I Love Lucy and not The Lucy Show? I've been to a few Targets recently and each only had The Lucy Show S1 & S2.

Too bad those I Dream of Jeannie packs from a year ago are gone. I would've liked to have gotten some later seasons 2 for $10 or $15. And I guess I'll never get Get Smart S5 super cheap since it's an odd number season and Target only has these good deals on double packs.

I got Adams Family S3 packaged with something else, I think it might have been Green Acres S1. So it could happen. Also too bad the extras are not packed with the individual Get Smart sets.

Same type of section as last year with signs all over the store saying "MEGA SALE" or "MEGA CLEARANCE" or something like that. Unfortunately the selection of DVD/Blus not as good as last year, at least for me.

I LOVE LUCY (1&2), MAGNUM (2&3), BRADY BUNCH (1&2), FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS (1&2), a few others, all @ $15.00. Individual DVDs of movies, SD & Blu, and single season TV shows @10.00.

No $5.00 coupon this year to sweeten the deal so a big MEH for me. Funniest thing was one of the MAGNUM sets had two copies of Season 3 wrapped together instead of S2 & 3, LOL. Let the buyer beware.

Manzana, trust me on this...I know what I saw and it was definitely I Love Lucy S1 & S2 in a special section of the store away from electronics. Regarding the odd number seasons, Raymond fits that bill as well w/S7

Link? I do not see this at all... I only see it from Amazon Marketplace sellers for $350. I do see the recently released complete series for $11.99, but that doesn't include the book or cape. Not sure about the GAH woman pilot, but I doubt it since the series set went from 13 discs down to 9 discs...

You sure? I have it and its there. She is a real work of art . I have never seen it before hand. Also its the only ep. I watched out of the set so far being I have never seen it before.

I got the Angel S1/2 for $10. Has anyone seen more Angel or Buffy two packs at that price at Target? There is a larger Target about 45 minutes from me and I'm wondering if it would be worth the trip...

The dvd set(S1) released in 2005 had it. The new one from Mill Creek lefted it out. If you have the Mill Creek one they come in paper sleeves.

Packaging is on the cheap side as previously mentioned. Also, the final episode "The Greatest American Heroine" is NOT included. Otherwise, GREAT series.

That link is to the Mill Creek set which does *not* include the cape, book, or GAHeroine episode. I know as I have the MC set. It's good, but not as good as the original with the "bonus" material which is fetching very high marketplace prices. The MC set also is in the newer MC packaging for larger multi-disk sets - a somewhat brittle plastic box (many break in some fashion during shipment) and the disks in paper sleeves. In typical amazon fashion they've combined reviews for the deluxe, older, package with the newer cheaper version. It's *still* a farily good price but be aware of what you're getting.

I said I'd not pick up anything for a few months following the many purchases during the Christmas season but with some of those packages at a $15 price point... I'll be visiting Wednesday to return the copy of "30 Rock" I re-purchased after amazon did a PM last week. It appears I'll be looking for a few more aquisitions after all...

Thanks for confirming. I haven't seen I Love Lucy at my 3 nearby stores, but then I haven't searched the entire store for secret sections away from electronics (and I probably never will). I'll keep my eye out though.

For the Raymond sets with the odd one, they still had to leave 1 of the seasons out in their 2 packs... in this case (for some reason) they didn't leave out the last season but some other season. Of course I foolishly bought all of the Raymonds years ago before I had learned my lessons on waiting (paid anywhere between $9 and $18 each) so these $9.99 2 packs don't help me.

I'd make the trip just to be sure if it's there or not and you never know, you might just find it.

You have to look at a separate part of the store away from electronics to spot the special two-packs and it can be a pain, but if you love these shows and for that price, you can't beat it. It's worth the effort. They're around.

Found them here today right where the reports indicate. Close to the Christmas close-out merchandise. I picked up the "Northern Exposure" 2-pack.

My theory is that this way you'll be more likely to pick up S7 and fill the hole where if they'd left off S9 you might not be as apt to pick it up.

It may be $8.49/season but Amazon's got a sale on I Dream of Jeannie seasons right now. FYI


on topic: I went to the super target near me and there was nothing like what starman9000 posted. Just a few random 2 pks but at various prices. I didn't take any to scan to see what they really were since none of them were shows I was interested in.

I hoped to find Quantum Leap or Northern Exposure but the red shirt guy checked his little handheld and said that none of the stores in the district appeared to carry them.

Looks like we're not getting them or are late in getting them? Oh well. I did at least pick up Dawson's Creek s1/s2 (always been curious, 2 seasons at that price, easy blind buy) and MNIE s3/s4 for $10 each last week. I also have rainchecks for bones s3 @$9.99 and Spartacus s1 for 14.99 but I don't need the latter now. via the VOD promotion & Amazon errors corrected by their awesome CS, ended up getting the bluray for $22.99. Anyone want the raincheck if I can find it?
