Thanks - I was mistakenly using the Members coupon. Non-members coupon worked for me (didn't get it yet - still on the fence).

It appears the coupon may also work on the DVD and CD versions.

The blu-ray set might be going out of print. I have not read anything saying it is, but noticed you can no longer order it at Amazon. Also DVD Price search did not list any stores selling it. If it goes out of stock that might be the end of it.

Tried to order the Neil Young set with the non-members coupon: B8R4A7B

Got this message: ! Your order does not qualify for coupon B8R4A7B. Please check the eligibility requirements for this coupon.

Maybe they removed this item from eligibility now?

Update:

Weird.... I changed the URL to the regular site and it applied the coupon. Then went back to the library site and it was still working.

Is there a master list of all the Father's Day items that the 50% off coupon can be applied to?

Try this link. Unfortunately there are very few DVDs eligible with the coupon. Mostly books and CDs.

It's for the kiddies who have "2 Dads"....

They do have a Father's Day gift section that has a nice selection of DVDs but almost none of them are eligible for the coupons. The Mother's Day coupons a few months ago were actually better since there were many more DVDs you could use them on. Overall I was disappointed with the selection for this coupon.

Does anyone know the Customer Service phone hours for B&N?

Laser Movies 06-11-10 11:12 AM

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

Didn't see any hours listed on the web site.

I believe those 50% coupons just got a whole lot better. Jut picked up the whole series of Leave it to Beaver pre-order for $85 before tax. Looks like they added DVDs to the eligible list over night. Will have to see what else they added.

How'd you manage that? It shows up as $99.99 in my cart, coupon applied.

I went through the Library link on the first page to save an extra 10%. It takes 10% off the price before the coupon discount.

Ahhh. Gracias. Ordered. Odd that if one uses the NASA 11% link, the order total comes to $91.xx before tax.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

I don't even bother with NASA anymore. After the GSA mess it seems they screwed it up to make it worthless.

The Rossellini set looks tempting at $42 with tax ....anyone think it will be cheaper in the July Criterion sale?

The NASA link has been only giving 6% off since the GSA coupon ended. I know the main page still says 11%, but it isn't. Like Laser said, I wouldn't even bother with it anymore. Library is the way to go now...

You should be able to cut the price down about $10 more using the library link on the first page to get it for about $32. Do you have a membership, or plan on getting one for the sale? This might be too good to pass even when the sale starts next month. I did a quick estimate and come up to about $31 during the sale with a 50% discount, 10% member discount, and $5 store coupon.

Oooh, I didn't realize it was good on pre-orders! I'll have to look again...

I probably need to update and change it on the first page that it is only 6% now.

FYI, I couldn't get the Steve Coogan collection to work with the 50% off.

It only works on a few selected pre-orders and DVDs. I have a list of some I found above but there could be more. Most of the DVDs look like they are only eligible with the B2G1F sale. The coupon only works on DVDs that have this icon.

Which coupon are you using? I'm getting the non-member coupon to work when I tested it.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

I used the non-member one as well. I'll try it again.

**Maybe it is working, but just isn't as good as I thought it would be, it says an additional discount of $13, for $64.99 total.
