An FYI/remember that if you plan to spend $100 at B&N in the next week or so you might as well take advantage of the free $10 gift card with purchase of $100 in gift cards. Members check you mail boxes.............my mail carrier just delivered to me a coupon book from B&N that has three 20% off one item coupons.
All are good thru December 24. There are three other coupons also included for coffee and chocolate.

As I said earlier, one of the four coupons I got was for 40% off. The subjects of the emails were almost identical: "We want to win you over 100%. Will 40% off help?"

Had you ever purchased anything from B&N using any of those accounts? The one account I had with Borders that moved to B&N I used since I received the free membership. I'm guessing that's why I didn't received the coupon. There's no point in "winning me over" if I've already bought something.

Damn you BN. Yesterday the Barney Miller set was 40% off then a coupon appears and its back down to 25%.

I just ordered Fanny & Alexander for $19.38. Now, thinking about it, maybe I should've used the 40% off on Three Colors? What's the verdict; which one is more essential?

** A word about the packaging + shipping: I ordered on the 10th and 11th and I just got my orders. 2 in the white plastic bag, 5 in cardboard. Even the ones in the plastic bag are in PERFECT shape.

I used an $8 coupon on Three Colors, but only after much parsing of the coupon and an initial denial over the $39.99 "final" price. I've had less trouble on far cheaper titles this time around, and I was really surprised this one didn't fly right through.
