The one order I made with 3 groupons on Friday still have nothing other than the scheduled to ship email on Friday. I figure if it's canceled I'll just use the GC in store or online when there is a march sale. Only one outstanding is Inception but I order that one kind of late yesterday.

Anyway, I made an order with 2 gc and decided to cancel it yesterday. There were two items since I was using a non member account. First (filler) item canceled with no problem but the second item I canceled multiple times and I still never got the cancellation email. I ended up calling CSR and had to cancel it there. It's been like 6 hours and I still haven't gotten the cancellation confirmation. I might have to call them again. Anybody have a solution here?

I only bought a few Groupons through Discover, but I am getting large and bizarre cashback amounts every few hours. $72.34 so far -- not even a whole number. No idea why.

Damn. Isn't is supposed to be only $2.00 cashback per purchase. 20% of $10 is 2 correct? Maybe they added an extra 0. Best thing to do is cash it out now before Discover realizes their errors.

Kenbenobi, I thought I remembered reading a post of yours recently about B&Ns discounting patterns on new releases, but I can't find it. I'm trying to figure out the best way to use a Groupon and wonder if you have any ideas how All The President's Men will be priced on the 15th. The list is $34.99 and it's currently $29.91. I tracked another BD with the same MSRP that releases this week and it just went up from $29.91 to $30+. Any info you have will be appreciated,

All my in-stock orders shipped today. All of these had 1-2 Groupons and went through just fine.

I have 2 orders that will probably take a while to be fulfilled but I'm not in a hurry.

I have 11-12 more Groupons that I haven't used but will probably use them slowly. Will wait for another nice % off coupon to come around. The 20% Visa was good and I used it several times...

Has anyone found a good way to consolodiate codes? I want to pre-order Star Wars The Complete Saga on BD, but a)there is a 3 code limit and I want to use 4 and b) I think if I pre-order w/a single code it would make it less likely my order get canceled between now and September.

Both of my orders shipped with no problem. First had one Groupon, second had two.

I got a nice surprise this morning from B&N. I received an email that I thought was shipping confirmation for an order but discovered they are sending me a free $10 gift card. Did anyone else get one of these?

It looks like a typical shipping confirmation email. Something like this in the subject heading.

"Your Barnes & Noble Order 1197766880 Is On Its Way"

They are delaying shipping my EXPRESS order by up to five days and I didn't get anything but an apology email. :/

My 2nd of 2 orders placed last night (using 3 Groupons) got flagged by Sales Audit. Just got off the phone w/them and the rep I spoke to said I would receive an email detailing what my options were in regard to the order or it just might go through, so we'll see.

Anyone else get this? You would know by checking your Order Status in your account and seeing a message "Order Unable to Process. Please Call..."

I just got THIS email. I used 2 groupons and a credit card for $40.44 worth of books and dvds.

This is a laughably bad way of handling this by Barnes and Noble. It basically appears anything with 3 groupons per order is under review.

As I said above, I only used 2! So they're flagging more than just the 3 groupon orders. The groupon use rules did state, "Barnes & Noble reserves the right to hold any order for a security review. If your order is affected, you will be notified via email within two business days." I never take that kind of stuff seriously. Apparently B&N is.

I placed an order with two groupons last week (True Grit BD and King's Speech BD) and the order is in scheduled to ship mode. Seems fine I guess...for now. B&N has one of the worst websites around when it comes to up-to-date order information.

I just got this same email. What the fuck. If they are canceling it, I wish they'd just tell me instead of giving me the damn runaround, so I can re-order some of the stuff I bought.

I got that email after I called customer service. I flat out asked them if my order would go through and was told that that is what they are waiting to find out and I will receive an email telling me if it is or isn't and what my options will be in regard to the order.

Seems they are flagging them randomly as I placed my two orders, each one using 3 groupons w/in the same hour and the first order I placed has already shipped.

They can try to charge me for the order retroactively if they like...I used an AMEX gift card with a $7 balance to pay for the remainder of the order ($0.48)

The one order I placed using two Groupons just shipped. I still have a couple of Groupons left, but I'll use them on separate orders just to be on the safe side. I have to wait for another round of 15% off coupons anyway.

Did anyone see cashback from *********? I hope I dont have to make manual requests for each transaction.
