American Gangster $11.99
Army Of Darkness $9.99
Elizabeth: The Golden Age $11.99 ( changed as I was adding it to my cart )
Fletch $9.99
Knocked Up $11.99
Land Of The Dead $11.99
Liar Liar $11.99
Pride & Prejudice $11.99
The Bourne Identity $9.99
The Kingdom $11.99

Makes me wonder if they'll keep prices like they were if other titles will be added. Oh well.

Thanks to the OP. I picked up about 7 comedies that I normally wouldn't have bought in HD considering my current policy is only for Action/Epic upgrades at the moment. The shipping almost killed the deal, but at $8.50 that's better than we've seen since HD-DVDs death.

I just did a Live Chat with Michelle. She said there is NOT a $10 shipping discount for ordering 13+. There are no discounts on shipping whatsoever. She did confirm that they are trying to add more titles, including non-Universal titles, but it was not a definite, and she couldn't say when. But they are working on it...

For those that submitted orders via the email order form, be sure to carefully review the titles on your invoice. My invoice listed Elizabeth: The Golden Age when I had just ordered Elizabeth. (I already own The Golden Age.)

Fortunately my order had not been shipped yet and I was able to correct the error through the online chat service. (My order status was in the "Queued" stage.)

So double-check your invoices before your order ships.

I'm presuming this advice is only for email orders, since the titles have to be manually read and entered into their system. Nevertheless, thanks for the advice - I'll be certain to doublecheck my confirmation emails to ensure the titles there match my online order confirmations.

Crap! Shouldn't have waited to pull the trigger. Breakfast Club isn't even listed anymore.

Yes, exactly. That advice is only for those that submitted their orders via email.

Just got confirmation that the order I placed on Saturday shipped today- I guess everything I picked was actually in stock. Wonder how long it'll take to get here? Not that I can watch them right now anyways as I don't have an HDTV yet, but I did already get a player for 80 bucks in February. I ordered about 4 more titles yesterday when some new ones came back in stock, if I had more money I would've ordered them all since I collect dead formats. I'm getting all the cheap HD-DVDs I can right now, then hopefully in a few more months I'll finally be able to upgrade my TV and enjoy them.

Same here, and I already did placed another order for 12 more titles. I'm scared they'll raise more prices. I'll only order at $5.99 each, since that puts em at $8 or so. I won't pay more than that for these Universal titles...

Got mine yesterday--fast shipping--had to sign for them at the post office this morning since they did signature required. One thing to note is that some of these have the bilingual French/English covers and spines. For the price it wasn't a big deal for me, but may be to others.

For you Canucks out there, it's actually cheaper to order from the US site than the Canadian one (two titles is $4 cheaper ordering via the US). I am assuming that they would ship from their Quebec warehouse, but if it was shipped from the US, you could get hit with customs.

As both the US and Canada sites were down for a few days, I ordered a few HDs through their website store, just in case they were OOS before the stores came back online. In Canada, ordering 1 or 2 was cheaper to go through ebay, depending on the province you were in. Ordering 3 or more was better using their store.

I ordered from the .com site before it went down. My order was still shipped via XpressPost though--not sure if everything ships out of Canada regardless of where you order from.

That's how Amazon.ca ships too. It's a PITA to have to have to go pick up at the PO if you aren't home to sign for it. It must be a post office thing where stuff from Canada (or maybe just XpressPost) have to sign. I received something from Japan last week and the post office didn't want a signature, they just left it.

Yeah, not too big of a deal but would have been a little more forthcoming on their site and would have been informative for me, if they mentioned it.

I could see if I was ordering from their .ca site, but their .com site, I'd expect an explanation for the difference in covers shown on their website, as all of them are US release covers.

As long as I don't have FORCED subtitles on the movies, I'm fine.

Many titles are now $7.99. Last chance, folks. Even now, it's not much of a deal, as many will average out to $10 a piece. Just barely a majority are still $5.99 (64 of them as of this post), but if you have a few titles to get...get'em now.

At 7.99, many titles will be cheeper at deepdiscount during the 20 percent sale plus no canadian covers. Only the combo discs are more at dd.

Yes, assuming DeepDiscount doesn't raise prices on their HD DVDs.

They lowered the price on Fletch though. It was $9.99, now $7.99...

They sure as hell better not. That's the only way I plan on buying them.
