Yep, I just ordered seven discs and shipping was $16.95. Still, at $5.99 a disc I can't complain about the shipping.

$116.56 for 14 titles ($108.57 for 13). Not sure I see the $10 discount.

I'm in for 19 discs. Didn't see a discount on shipping, but for an average of less than $8.15/HD DVD I'm not complaining.

It's perfectly fine. It only has HD DVDs displayed because of high web traffic. They were nice enough to get the HD DVD section up for us.

Why are they only selling Universal titles? The remaining HD-DVDs I've been waiting for good prices are on all from Warner.

Only Universal has set a lower internal selling price (the cost to resellers direct from Universal), with exception to smaller studios such as Magnolia and Weinstein. Since Universal probably dropped their costs on titles to low single-digits, this particular reseller has taken advantage of it and is ordering direct from Universal's suppliers.

Warner Broze et al haven't set lower selling prices yet. It's almost June, which is when I originally predicted prices to plummet. I was rather surprised a few months ago however when prices dropped, and then prices gradually increased.

What we're seeing now is probably the last moments of HD DVD retailers and manufacturers to get their last bit of profit before things really get bad. The economy is getting worse (or rather, it's not getting better), and I'm sure they know people are beginning to avoid HD DVD altogether and moving on to Blu-ray.

Warner will probably be the last studio to hold out on prices. Wouldn't surprise me if Warner actually destroyed their HD DVD titles in their warehouses and left retailers to sell off whatever they had at whatever price they wanted. Only Warner, would I say such a thing.

On my e-mail order they charged $13.95 shipping for 5 discs. Wonder why the extra dollar?

$3.95 first disc, and $2.50 per disc thereafter. $4.95 if you order only one disc. Maybe they changed the shipping amounts.

Their eBay shipping is still $4.95/$2.00, so if they did change their online shipping prices, folks will want to compare shipping costs to determine which is less expensive:

Order 1 or 2 = cheaper online
Order 3 = same price
Order 4 or more = cheaper via eBay

The BIN prices on the movies are usually $2 more unless you want to wait 6 days for the auctions to end and hope they don't go above the store prices. I picked up 9 titles and the shipping was $20.95, not sure it would've been worth saving an extra four bucks or whatever to deal with the eBay store.

I didn't realize the site was back up (well, to the HD-DVD page anyway). I went ahead and ordered 19 titles. Some sold out since I last looked, but I should look at that as a good thing since I almost bought 67 titles originally, and shouldn't really spend that much right now.

I'm really curious if they get more titles. I also hope a few more titles become in stock.

Amazon better think of doing something with their Universal titles, because I would venture to guess most of us will have already gotten our fill somewhere else.

Just an FYI, some titles have been re-stocked. A few have not. For some reason The Kingdom shows $11.99.
