I got the same email saying that I didn't pay, but I did get a shipping notice.

What I hated with my PayPal checkout was that it insisted on draining my PP balance before going to my CC. Grrrr. I wanted that little bit of money for a reason, dangit.

I order 9 days ago. What's the usual shipping time? (I got my Star Trek TOS HD order from Amazon.ca in a week.)

It is a lengthy process, but you can use your credit card. It took me a while to figure it out.

DirkBelig,

I just received all my orders today, so they must have kept them for a few days to be shipped out all at once I think because I got several shipped notices over several days. I ordered around May 23. You should be receiving yours anyday now.

Well, I got all 25 titles today.

They aren't as ugly as they could be. I purchased some HD DVDs from Amazon.de and the cases were 50% wider with large font print for the spine. I thought I purchased movies from The Special Ed HD DVD Blowout Sale.

I see what you mean by the French language on the spine. Kind of distracting, but not too bad. I had about 12 titles which don't have this problem, so about half did.

I look forward to watching Parfume de Femme, though. And Nigaud De Professeur II: Les Klumps.

Mine arrived today as well. Both orders, 15 titles in all. Only 5 of them are bi-lingual: Mummy, Mummy Returns, Chronicles of Riddick, Midnight Run, and Mystery Men. If the covers bug me that much, www.cdcovers.cc and www.r1db.com are options, as well as the cool user-created stuff at EAProgramming and Bunny Dojo's site. I'm not fretting this, or should I say, "la, je ne 'fret' pas".

Picked up my 2 shipments this morning from the post office, and ended up with 11 bi-lingual covers, and 12 English-only covers.

I got my small order of Breach and Dragonheart. Both bilingual. Doesn't bother me at all. I've never understood the fuss.

Mine came in the morning post. Land of the Dead and The Deer Hunter have English-only covers; Elizabeth, Streets of Fire, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Being John Malkovich, and Dawn of the Dead are English/Frogish and thus have a 50% chance to surrender to my other DVDs.

Don't want to be the English "ass" :P but really it would be:

"Don't want to be the French 'ass'" (couldn't resist)

Also, I was under the impression that "un" translated to "a", so you'd be asking, essentially "what is a nigaud?". I believe the original question is "what's 'up', Nigaud?", which is different.

A few Weinstein titles in there this time, but I already got all the ones I wanted at Fry's. Any chance of this place getting some Warner titles? Those seem to be the hardest to get clearance prices on.

Shame I've already picked-over their inventory, but might help others out significantly!

Argh. I thought I was done with them, but I can easily come up with another $50 worth of movies to buy. Thanks for posting.

Woo! glad I hold off ordering some of the titles at current DD 20% sale...

just put in an order...

(For some reason, the shipping charge was there when I try to use Google check-out... so I checked out the regular way which did show the shipping discount promotion.)

Dammit, Eternal Sunshine of the spotless mind is gone! That was going to be on my next batch of titles to order.

What annoys me is they finally just entered my order today that I placed on Monday (took forever for Paypal to clear since it only offered me the option of bank transfer)--I definitely would have ordered 1 or 2 more moves to get free shipping instead of the $13 I paid for shipping.
