All I see on the booklet is 10.1" 6-cell battery, optical drive, mouse and case (looks like neoprene-like material).

Glad I didn't pick up King Arthur today at Best Buy. I'll pick it up at Costco when I make a run there this weekend. I may pick up Dracula, but isn't there problems with the picture and color?

We just picked up Carnivale season 1 and 2 for 16.99 each. They also had many seasons of Oz and Sex and the City for the same price. Didn't see Rome.

Has anyone seen Deadwood at Costco? On sale?

I spotted Princess Mononoke at my local Costco along with the other Miyazaki films (still no Kiki, Castle in the Sky, or Yamadas).

Went to my Costco during lunch today. They must have reduced their DVD and Blu-ray selection by 1/2 from just a couple weeks ago. You'd think they were phasing them out.

As for that Samsung Blu-ray player in the coupon book, I was surprised that they reduced the regular price to $199.99, so the coupon would make it $169.99. I'd consider getting one for my other TV, if I had not seen the trouble my dad had with the one he bought.

Costco severely trims their DVD section after winter and expands it for Fall and Christmas buying. They've done this for years now but yes, the last couple of years the section has been pretty spartan at this time of the year.

I saw it for $33 per season. Not sure how great a deal it is. Didnt see the Complete Series.

Pretty darn good. I'm holding out for sub $20 though. I may have to wait a while...

Sometimes holding-out for years to get the price you want feels SO GOOD when it happens. What I found works best is having a big wish-list so that you have enough to watch while at the same time being able to wait for the right price.

I've also noticed that they shrink the section's size at this time of the year to make room for back-to-school software products.

Saw these in the Clackamas, OR store yesterday, along with the screwballs of comedy sets and the Frank Capra collection.

I noticed it too yesterday. Particularly disturbing was the fact that, although there was roughly the usual number of DVD's, the CD's and BluRay's were almost completely eliminated.

The DVD section never seems to change in size at the store I frequent. In fact as of last week they had an extra display near the front door loaded with box sets.

This is the one I really want.

Same at the store I visited in Yonkers, NY. In fact they seem to group many of the DVDs by studio. I saw a section for everything Disney, a section for the Sony $12.99 blu-rays, a section for the Warner $8.99 2 disc sets etc. I assumed they were getting ready for the fall and holidays when they increase their selections.

Update: Well that was quick. The extra section near the front of the store where the cheap blu-rays and DVDs was has been replaced with socks. The stuff that was there was put back in the DVD section. All kind of thrown together. It looked like a mess.

Stopped by the Irwindale Costco on the way home today. Found the last season of the Golden Girls I needed to complete my collection (2nd). They also had about 15 different copies of various seasons. These look to be gone at most every Target and Costco I had checked.

They only had one copy of Porco Rosso. No other Miyazaki to be found.

Had a bunch of $9.99 award sets. Best Director, Actor, Actress, etc. Almost pulled the trigger on those.

from what i saw, it's the BD-P1590 iirc. i know costco has their own specific models, but i'm guessing it's nearly equivalent to the BD-P1600 at other retailers?
