Right, saw this at our Costco, too. Only the Charlie Chan set isn't back in stock at this time.

Costco has the Hanna Barbera "Saturday Morning Cartoons" from the 60s 70s and 80s at $12.95 per set. Not bad price. Has this been cheaper?

IIRC, Big Lots! had a few of these sets for $3 each. But I doubt you're gunna see those prices anymore.

Stopped by my local Costco yesterday and picked up the Sanford and Sons collection for $19.99 (as posted before). Also so 10 DVD railroad set for my dad's father's day present ($19.99).

Thought about season 1 of Fringe for $16.99. Best Buy isn't running that deal for $9.99 anymore, are they? I'm guessing I can find it for $14.99 next Black Friday, but that's not saving much. Anyone see it cheaper?

I saw 'em, too. Oddly enough, there were some "Best Of HD-DVD" collections interspersed throughout the boxes.

I thought I'd gone back 3 years in time. Hilariously optimistic pricing there.

I noticed a bunch of Blu-ray+DVD combo packs for $8.99 ea. There were about 10 titles; the ones I recall were:

* Robocop
* The Terminator
* The Graduate
* A Bridge Too Far
* Roadhouse
* Never Say Never Again

Sorry, drawing a blank on the rest.

I saw those as well, "Napoleon Dynamite" and "Silence of the Lambs" were two more. It's worth noting these are being sold in standard DVD cases.

Everyone probably already has it that wants it, but I finally picked up the Sergio Leone boxset for a little under $30 at Costco tonight.

Deadliest Catch Seasons for $9.99. They are complete right? (Thinking X-files Thick to slim sets missing content) Seem to good to be true price. Considering the prices at amazon for a few seasons.

Yes, $9.99
Don't know if there were other releases but Seasons 4 & 5 (the two I picked up) were slims with a blurb on the front of both indicating the bonus "After the Catch" were included.

Re: General Costco DVD Thread

Also, local Costco had sign up "$3.00 off Disney BD." I'm not sure which titles were included, but they had two of the Pirates of the Caribbean series (1st and 3rd, I think) for 12.99. So, maybe, those discs would only be $9.99. I did not try to buy them, so I'm not sure.

I saw the box set of the complete series "Soap" for $19.99. I restrained myself, but I may have to go back for it.

Re: General Costco DVD Thread

According to the new coupon book, they will be a $10 discount on the new BBC classics assortment. Since they are priced at $27.99, it's an even better deal at $17.99. What I've seen so far:

The Charles Dickens Collection 1
The Charles Dickens Collection 2
The Anthony Trollope Collection
The Jane Austen Collection
The Oscar Wilde Collection
The Henrik Isben Collection
The Anton Chekhov Collection
The Elizabeth Gaskell Collection
Helen Mirren at the BBC
Maggie Smith at the BBC
Ken Russell at the BBC

and one odd man out:

The Thorn Birds/The Thorn Birds: The Missing Years

but you can get the Oscar Wilde cheaper ($15.99) at Amazon right now.
