Do you know what Costco's price is for Potter before coupon?

I find this so annoying about the Costco coupons--they always start on a Monday. It would be nice if they started their sales on the weekend like everyone else!

Glass half empty much? They do start them on the weekend like everyone else, except they are giving you a bonus 5 day head start. Be appreciative, not annoyed!

I guess that's another way to look at it--but I look at it as 5 days for them to sell out of what I wanted to get before I have a chance to get to the store.

Yup. Coupon doesn't do much good if you can only get there on weekends and they sell out of the item before the weekend.

I just got back from my Costco (I can hit it during lunch hours luckily). They only had about 4-5 of each set. I almost thought of stashing a Matrix set, but its hard to hide something in such a big, open store. So I'll just hit it early Monday and hope there's not a mad rush on the stuff.

(Also hoping the cute blonde working the camera table there today will be working again.)

Re: General Costco DVD Thread

I guess some of you work the evening shift and can't there before 9pm? Could you go before work then?

If I wanted one of the sets and couldn't get there until Saturday, I'd probably try the buy now and exchange later thing.

Don't forget, you can always purchase these online. They just showed up on the site. Although, if you're not a member, you'll have to pay a 5% surcharge above the listed price, as well as shipping and possible sales tax. Much easier at a warehouse location.

Snagged my Matrix BD Collection just now.

Saw a few other $12.99 BD movies I don't remember seeing before:

Flyboys
Robocop
Rocky

and a couple others I can't recall.

Re: General Costco DVD Thread

Fox 2-Pack of the two X-Files (new + old) Blu-Rays was $23.99 at my local Costco here in Oregon.

There were others at the same price, but I did not catch the titles.

Re: General Costco DVD Thread

Got the Harry Potter box the other day for $64.99 with coupon with no problem. It appeared that they might've even gotten a restock because there were even more of them there this week than last.

OK, I was just there and saw for $23.99:

Point Break / Chain Reaction
Kiss of the Dragon / Bulletproof Monk
X-Files FTF / IWTB

and the two war movie combos mentioned above. That was it.

They also had a Family Guy deal where you buy Vol. 7 + any previous volume and you save $10.

Vol. 7 was $25.99 and 1-6 were $16.99. So $33 for both basically.

Re: General Costco DVD Thread

Hadn't seen these mentioned, but my Costco had the deluxe "fringe" edition of Woodstock for $40 and an assortment of the new Three Stooges sets (including the newest Volume 6) for $15.

Re: General Costco DVD Thread

I've seen mentioned on this thread both "American History X" and "The Song Remains The Same" on Blu for $12.99 apiece. Is anyone still seeing these? I'm in north Jersey, and I've yet to spot them.
