Also some $16.99 Fox sets that they've had before: Peter Sellers, Frankie & Annette, Alice Faye, and more.

Also saw Forbidden Hollywood vol. 3 (the new one) for $34.99. It was with a few other $34.99 sets, including Forbidden Hollywood vol. 2.

About time the sets came back. I haven't bought any DVDs at Costco for the longest time - until today!
I saw Doris Day Vol 2 as part of the $24.99 sets. This is not the new spotlight set.
Some of the $24.99 sets have been cheaper in the past. Errol Flynn set has sold for $19.99.

Okay I went a little crazy today, and bought some $17 and $25 movie box sets.

$16.99 box sets

1-The Coen Brother Movie Collection(I have Fargo and Raising Arizona, but I can sell or trade them) :-))

2-The Alice Faye Collection Vol 2(5 movies, look like some great old classics)

3-Bob Hope (Movie legends collection)7 movies

4-Peter Sellers (Movie legends collection)4 movies

5-Frank Sinatra(Movie legends collection)5 movies

6-Frankie & Annette(Movie legends collection)8 movies/4 disc

and they had 3 or 4 more

$24.99 box sets

1-The Tarzan Collection, Vol. 1 (Tarzan the Ape Man / Escapes / and His Mate / Finds a Son / Secret Treasure / New York Adventure) (1936)(Number of Discs: 4) I use to watch Tarzan when I was a kid in the 70's

2-The Bette Davis Collection, Vol. 3 (The Old Maid / All This, And Heaven Too / The Great Lie / In This Our Life / Watch on the Rhine / Deception)

And also bought
Edward Scissorhands WS (Annniversary Edition) $5

And i'm sure most of you know that shop at Costco, the stock changes so quickly,6 of my buys where not in stock yesterday.

So a big thanks for all and everyone that post their DVD finds at the Costco.

X-Men Blu-ray Trilogy is $49.99.

And of course none of the Sin City copies I saw last week but could not buy were anywhere to be found.

Re: General Costco DVD Thread

I saw most of these mentioned in the Clackamas, OR store. They also had the TCM Forbidden Classics Vols 2 and 3, for about $35 per set. Not sure how good a price that is, but when I tried to purchase, the sets wouldn't ring up and when they checked, they claimed they weren't able to sell them until 4/28. Weird, because I know Vol 2, at least, has been out for a while. The checker and I had a good laugh about these forbidden classics being so forbidden you couldn't even buy them.

Re: General Costco DVD Thread

I didn't read through this whole thread, so I'm not sure if it has been mentioned, but I was at my local Costco yesterday and they have the individual season sets of Six Feet Under for $16.99 each. Each season set is bundled with a disc that contains the first episode of True Blood. I have never seen SFU, but I picked up the first two seasons. If I don't like it, I can always take the second season back and get a refund. =)

Add the John Wayne set to that as well.

Also, there's a new assortment of 90s era WB TV animation for $18.49 each, including the newly released Freakazoid Season 2. Also had Freakazoid 1, and all the Pinky & the Brain & Animaniacs, IIRC.

Yes, it is available now. I bought it today from a Costco location in Southern NJ. There is no coupon required. It is an instant rebate of $30.

Re: General Costco DVD Thread

My girlfriend mentioned that she saw a B1G1F coupon for the X-Files Season Sets (Priced $24.99 individually) at Costco over the weekend.

Is it an in-store coupon or part of the mailer?

Also does anyone know how long it lasts?

I assume it is (was?) part of the current mailer as I didn't see anything on the shelf when I was in the store a few days ago. That probably explains why there were about 75 copies of the various seasons.

It was a coupon in the mailer. It's good until 5/3.

Thanks! Great price, as I've been looking for a good deal on the new packaging. Problem is if I'll have the time to go through TV sets right now

Solid prices on the Blu-Rays. Picked up American History X a couple weeks ago at $12.99
