I had a floater in one of my ordered items so I had to contact Buy. The problem is it doesn't show up (or at least in my case, it didn't show up) in my order history so I had to search by order number.

Hmm. I sent them an angry email about their refusal to accept my credentials (which amazon and everyone else DO accept) and they sent me a t-shirt. On a whim I placed the order again and it suddenly worked....
I'm appreciative of the t-shirt, but my cynicism can't help but say, "Wait, so I should become a walking ad for a product that doesn't even work for me?"

I received 2 of my Buy.com orders yesterday, Evil Sister II, which was a floater but no damage, and Seven Samurai, which has a huge crease on the side and the top corner is bowed out a bit. Every time I've ordered from them (2 or 3 times), something has been damaged or a disc has been loose. What the hell do they do to their dvds over there???

And the people at DVDempire were almost no help at all. All I wanted them to do was let me switch the DVD they didn't ship with something else the same price and they wouldn't let me do that. They told me it was too late to do anything, I just wish they would have told me what they were going to do before they did it.

I'm still waiting for my item to ship from Best Prices. When I ordered it, the page said they had 2 in stock. As soon as I ordered it, I got a backorder notice (nevermind their page now shows 5 in stock for the same item) and the price dropped $2 (under $30 so it doesn't matter much really - cheaper at the old price with this coupon).
Anybody else having this "backordered, yet showing in stock" problem?

I've had this message since Wednesday when I track my order through buy.com, another item in this order has already shipped and came to my house. But this one item has said it shipped before the one that has arrived, but yet it keeps saying this:
Status: The U.S. Postal Service was electronically notified by the shipper or shipping partner on October 11, 2006 to expect your package for mailing. This does not indicate receipt by the USPS or the actual mailing date. Delivery status information will be provided if / when available. Information, if available, is updated every evening.
