Still waiting on my only order from last Thursday which shipped out on the 29th (last Friday). It was 3 books. I didn't figure it would take as long as a DDD order. I've had other Buy.com orders arrive much quicker.

I've had 3 orders ship. The rest have been order, cancel, order, cancel... I've ordered and re-ordered the Newsradio sets about 3 times each.

All of my purchases went through. I plan on making a couple more, hopefully I wont have any problems.

The cheapest free shipping items I found were coloring books. There are some @ $1.34-1.35, but I think there may have been one a few cents cheaper than those. There was a $1 book, but I believe it is OOS (but there may be others).

I have a question...when you preorder something from BUY.COM, when does it arrive at your house?

I used to buy from reel.com a long time ago, and I pre-ordered Gladiator (like the only pre-order I've ever done) and it came like 2 days before release date! Maybe that's why they're not in business anymore.

But I own a videostore, and I could really take advantage of this sweet deal, providing I would get the movies at least on release day.

Can someone help me out?

Ugh, so the coupon is nice, but using google checkout is a hassle if they screw up the order. I received the wrong dvd, to get the correct one they can't email me a return label since it is an order through google checkout account. Now I have to wait for them to send me a label and then send it back before they will send out the correct item. It's not the end of the world or anything, but it is pretty annoying.

So, did anyone else try ordering used items from DVDEmpire with the coupon after my earlier post? Just curious if anyone had tried and had them shipped.

(the basic idea is that even though the google checkout button is disabled when you have used items in your cart, you can add a single new item to your cart, copy the google checkout link in the cart and then just paste that in later to check out)

As far as Buy.com goes: Three orders received, three orders shipped, one pre-order (Charmed) not yet cancelled, two orders not yet cancelled (both placed today), and zero cancellations. I should have about five more orders placed before the deal ends at the end of the month.

Just had my 2nd cancellation. This time it was with a google account that has only placed 2 orders total. There goes my theory about too many orders on one google account being bad...

Regarding cheap items to push it over the $30 limit, you might want to try a downloadable music single. I haven't needed one myself, so I don't know if they work, but if they do they should have no shipping charges.
