Good news/bad news:
My local Target (Dover, DE) had more of these in stock today. They all had slip covers so they must have gotten more in, last time I checked they didn't have any. They're still on the section of wall that says "$7.50 DVD's". I was going to pick one up for my friend at work.
Took it up front and it rang up for $19.99. Manager came over and sent a runner to the back to check it out. 10 minutes go by and the girl never comes back. I told the manager, sorry I have to go.

I never checked the tag price, but if these are there I would say you should be able to get them for $7.50. When I go back, I'm going to double check it, and if it is $7.50, I'll take it to electronics to ring it up.

Alright, I just got done raising hell at my local Target about this (which eventually they gave it to me at $7.50, because I'm ruthless), and I just realized that this was an old thread.

Oops! LoL Well, that's what I get for reading only thread titles while at work.

Damn that's funny as hell. I don't know what you look like but I can picture this big beligerant guy at the register going, "This G@d D@mn Spaceball is supposed to be $7.50 and I'm not paying a cent more." With nads like that, you could set your price for anything man. When I was there this weekend they mistakenly had the Crash 2 disc DC misplaced in $10 display which was supposed to be the old 1-disc release. They gave the 2-disc for $10. You oughta make them do the same for you. Funniest thing I've read all day.

Yeah, sorry about bringing up an old thread, but I figured some people were still interested in getting this after not being able to find one.

Its was still tagged $7.50 last week at my Target. It was a regular price shelf tag too. Not one of those "temporary price cut" ones.

I'll have to check again.

My local Target had it tagged at $19.99. I wonder if this is kind of like the Wal Mart/Lois & Clark deal, a nation-wide price mistake.

You are probably right. I would assume the previous version was supposed to be $7.50 and they entered the wrong sku...

Well, I couldn't find any of this version at my Target today, nor a shelf tag for it. Its a good chance this is a dead deal.

They had the 2-Disc at my Target the other day. It was in the $7.50 section and I even made sure that the price tag below it said $7.50. I checked once more and it still said $7.50. Anyways, I took it up to checkout and it rang up for $19.99.

I told them that the shelf price said $7.50, so the lady called the entertainment department and the guy on the other line said that the price tag said $19.99. I took the movie and walked back there, and sure enough, the price was $19.99. The only problem with that is the price tag said $7.50 less than 10 minutes ago.

I told the guy this and he denied it. I know what happened though. When he was checking the price he realized the mistake and changed it to $19.99. I know this because it was just a blank tag with $19.99 printed on it. It didn't say Spaceballs or anything above it. Damn Target...

Yeah, I went by a few days ago, and it was back to $19.99.
