I got:

Robocop
Day After Tomorrow
Two Towers: EE

I didn't really want Robocop but I couldn't pass up on the deal.

I remember about 2 years ago, I picked up all three Godfathers for 30 bucks. I don't think they were ever watched.

They recently pulled several copies from most store's rentals for this so if anyone's looking to pick them up as such you can look around and likely find them. $25 for the trilogy + the bonus disc isn't bad, even if it doesn't include the inserts and box.

When, for the love of God, is BBV going to put some copies of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind out? I remember they did the same thing with Lost In Translation, where other new releases came and went to the PV pile after about a month, and the movie I'm interested in takes forever. Any insight into how BBV determines when and how many of a title to pull?

If you have a Movie Gallery near you, they have it as part of their buy 2 get 2 free deal. Also note that there's a new 2-disc collector's edition of Spotless coming out January 4, 2005.

Our branches have had this on PVD for a while. Perhaps it depends on how much the rentals have slowed down on a title at a particular branch.

That's pretty much it, if a title rents well it'll take awhile longer for it to work its way to PVD although the "masses" have all but shunned the film, atleast in my region, so finding a traded in copy relatively soon should be easy nonetheless. Just so you know, the "2-disc special edition" is the same disc including the "bonus disc" of the soundtrack, a nice addition mind you, but a tad misleading.

The second disc of the Special Edition of "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" is not the soundtrack. It is another disc with special features:

Didn't see much besides new releases at my local BBV. I went ahead and got a (new) Out of Sight.

Just picked up:

van Helsing
Elf
Stepford Wives (remake)

Elf and Van Helsing were ticketed at 12.99 and Stepford Wives was 14.99. The CSR rang them up in the wrong order, and I ended up getting Stepford Wives for free. I figured their system would be smart enough to figure out which the two most expensive are on this deal, but I guess not.

This isn't a Buy 2, Get 1 Free sale, this is a 3 for $25 sale. The receipt would've read "Coupon" "-$15.97"

Add me to the others who found the Star Wars trilogy in the PVD section, all 4 discs were in brand new shape, no smudges, scratches or anything. Didn't see the Bourne Supremacy or any Eternal Sunshines out yet.

Finally picked up on some box sets. Found Simpsons Season 1, Harsh Realm and Master And Commander CE all in pristine condition, all as part of 3/$25.

BTW, stopped in at Hollywood Video and noticed they have the 3 for $25 going on as well. Downside is you probably won't score on any trade-in's there. But the selection they put out is slightly different, in case you're looking for something that hasn't been pulled at BBV yet.

They just started dropping in copies of Eternal Sunshine and Elf in our story. No signs of Riddick or The Terminal.
