Well, on second though, I guess I have. Although I've never come across boxsets in BBV PVD sale, I have come across 2 criterions -- The Rock, and Straw Dogs -- in a 2-for-$20 sale.
Good stuff, though.
I don't know how many of you guys are into anime (or maybe hentai), but there's a BBV (probably the 3d closest to me) that has a shitload of traded-in anime on dvd. I remember seeing a grip of them when I went in to this particular BBV looking to see if they had the 3-disc version of the Terminal. I had planned on buying it with my credit.
When I saw those shelves filled with anime, I had remorsed the fact fact that I wasn't a big anime fan. Otherwise, that would've been a goldmine for me.

I went looking for Spiderman 2 WS and meet with no luck. My local BB has 117 copies on the shelf and said it wasn't even on the pull list for next week. Besides S2, I saw Cronicles that I would have grabbed and a copy of Scooby2 for the kids.
My BB doesn't even have trade-ins, is there a list of the stores that do it somewhere?

But, I'd rather be where you live right now celebrating each Charger victory at the Q, or at Seau's for away games.

Not into sports, so it doesn't bother me if the chargers win or lose....... That would cut into my dvd viewing time.

If you want, email me a list of anime titles you're looking for and I'll keep a copy at work to look over anytime I come across them as my store is like a community whore for anime titles.

I actually shouldn't be buying dvds right now either due to my Christmas bills.
I was standing in front of a blockbuster today and my gf wouldn't let me go in. she is helping with that willpower I don't have. I need a 12 step program!

Had a hunch to stop by a BBV by my parents while visiting them for Xmas. Snagged:
Hidalgo
Jabberwocky
Band of Outsiders: Criterion
People around there must be idiots because I found another Criterion used there during another one of their promotions.

I went to my local Blockbuster, and saw nothing there, until, out of the corner of my eye, I spotted "Blues Brother's Collector's Edition" for 12.99 used. HOLY SHIT!!!!!!!!!!! I picked it up along with Antoine Fisher and The Pianist. Boy, who got ripped off with this one.
