Got mine this morning at Fry's... $36.99.
There were a few people in front of the rack, and the checkout clerk told me that just about everyone had come up with Star Wars in hand. The good news was that I didn't see one person carrying around the fool screen version.
Looks like you better get there ASAP. Who knows how many copies they have...

Picked up a set at FYE at the Galleria in Philadelphia. $49.99 - $15 mail-in rebate = $34.99 + tax. BTW, you don't need to butcher the packaging for the UPC. They're telling everyone that all you need to include is the sticker they put on the outside shrinkwrap. The UPC off the packaging is NOT required. Also got 2 posters free, ESB and ROTJ (they threw in an extra one since I couldn't decide which one I wanted). Good luck.

Yes, I believe most everyone here knows that, the problem is those of us who ordered online don't have those stickers.

NCYankee: sounded like people weren't considering purchasing at FYE today because they thought they'd have to cut the box. BTW, I wonder if you ordered it online if you could ask the store to make you a sticker to use for the rebate like the ones they use in-store? Or, I wonder if you could just exchange the unopened one you received online with one in-store that has the sticker? Just 2 thoughts.

Madden coupon worked for me, no questions asked. I'm happy.

$39.96 at WalMart here. I was planning on price matching with CompUSA but no need. They only had a half-dozen hidden in the aisle with the other movies but at the very end. I had to ask where they were. I was expecting to see a big display like the one they had for The Passion - they must have a couple hundred of that movie.

Problems at BB in Lynnwood, WA. I was told by the cashier that the manager this morning made it clear their were to be NO price matching AT ALL on SW because they that would be below cost.
After talking to her mgr she came and did it for me (perhaps because I flashed my RZ card?) This after they declined my Madden coupon. (i brought fry's ad as a back-up.)
The cashier herself was very apologetic, she KNEW that the meeting this morning clearly went against store policy. I wonder how many other BB's are trying to get away with this?

Best Buy at Boughton and Veterans Parkway (across from Meijr's).
Thanks in advance.

If there's anyway you can run up the road to Downers Grove today, the new Fry's has if for 36.99, but only for one day.
I need a prescription from Wal Mart, I'll try to check the price for you.

I just bought Star Wars from FYE. I did the pre-order thing and I purchased the $50 gift card so I received the $10 card for free last month or whenever. I found a $5 coupon for Strawberries on FW and the guy at FYE took it. In the end, if I count the free gift card, $5 coupon, and $15 rebate Star Wars cost me $20 + tax.

I picked mine up at the Anaheim Fry's location. Believe it or not, there was no display, no end-cap setup, nothing. They had two stock people standing in the aisle since the shelf had space for about 6 box sets. Every minute and a half, they would open another box and place more sets on the shelf. I half expected to see a hamster running on a wheel to print out my receipt when I checked out...
