I bought Splinter Cell (XBox) for less than $40, shipped! THANKS DVDTALK!

Does anyone know... I'm new to the following of Half coupons. Does Half frequently have $15 off $50 coupons? I think all the $15 coupons we currently have knowledge of expire in January. Will that be it or will there be a new batch?

Looking for answers from people that have been following Half for awhile and know the ups and downs of the coupons.

Thanks all!

Oh yeah! Half has been known to end coupons early, right? How often do they do that? Should I take advantage of the coupon now? Will I kick myself later if I wait 'til late January?

Thanks - just placed an order for Crichton's Airframe and a Richard Laymon novel. Both hardcover for around $15 total with the use of COOL5.

I've got a question.I'm a new customer to half and bought my first dvd the other day from there. However the guy said the dvd was out of stock, and the order was cancelled.I also used one of the codes, but of course the order was cancelled and i'm not getting anything. Now can i buy another item and use the code,or am i not considered a first time buyer because i purchased an item even though it was cancelled.

You can't use the code again. Their system will say that you are no longer a first-time buyer.

However! You can email customer service, giving them the old order date and number that was cancelled, let them know the seller cancelled it, and give them your new order number, and ask them for a coupon credit.

They will give it to you without hassle.

K-QWICK's question brings up another question...

If you order 2 or more items totalling $50+ and use the $15 OFF coupon, then one of the items is cancelled by the seller, do you still get the $15 off the remaining order? (even if new total is less than $50?) Or, does Half.com cancel the coupon?

Has anyone run across this? I can't count the # of times I have had sellers cancel orders on me, but so far they have all been on single-item orders.

Thanks

WH

Wolf Husky's question...

Well this happened to me way back when Half.com was not owned by eBay.com....

I used the $5 off $10 code but had 2 or 3 items...and one of the items cancelled because the person did not respond to my "buy" notice...but the code was still applied...thus I ended up w/ even a better deal....just w/out the other item I wanted...

So, did your total you spent drop less than $10 then when the seller didn't respond? Because, if you still had $10 of purchases, it would be a moot point.

I love you, man!

Any idea what the expiration date is? I tested it 12/17/02 at 1:11 AM ET and it worked. But, will it work after 12/31?

Do us all a favor in these instances and leave bad feedback for these orders. Let others know who the sellers are that list items they don't have.

I'd use ...

"Get's an 'F-' in Inventory Management 101"

or

"Don't list what you don't have. Is that too difficult?"

It's a pain in the butt to order then have the item cancelled. I use my PayPal Visa to purchase from Half.com, and when the sale is cancelled, I have to wait 11 days for the intial credit authorization charge to expire.

No one ever answered my question earlier.

Does Half.com ALWAYS or almost always have these $15 OFF coupons, or is that it after 1/31 when "candycane" expires?

I haven't been following Half.com coupons for more than a few weeks, so I haven't a clue about their "usual" coupon offerings.

I was going to mention it earlier, and decided not to. You get a $5 off $25 each for being the referee and the referred. You can figure out what to do with that info. Because of that, I've always thought $5 off $25 coupons are pretty much useless.

I just tested it and it works fine. You could also use SEMESTER, which expires 3/31.

Is there a way to use these coupons more than once? Whenever I try, it says valid for first time customers only.
