Does anybody know if I can start an account, make my initial purchase, remove my credit card from the profile after I recieve my shipment, start a new account, and repeat as needed. This would maximize the new user coupons. Thanks.

You certainly used to be able to do that, but I believe once Half and Ebay joined their system together, it's quite a bit of pain to do this now since the registration process is long and they only allow one per customer name at a particular address. Maybe someone can correct me on that one.

I'd love to use a 1-time use CC# as a new customer if this is the case.

By the way, and for what it's worth: The DVD Talk Newsletter lists the GETFIVE and SHOPNOW coupons as good for "all customers." Of course, they are not (I decided to give 'em try for kicks).

It's the same as before. New CC# and new email address is all that's necessary. You just have to go through the registration process at ebay now.

I tried with a new CC# and new e-mail addy but it didn't work. Did I have to change my user name too? If so, that's just creating a new account.

Thats the point you have to create a new account. The coupons are for new customers only. Since EBay took over half.com I had to re do all my accounts anyway so its like a win-win.

Special Coupon

I just received a $10 off $30 purchase email coupon from Half.com
The coupon has a specific one time use code. The title of the email said it was for special Half.com A-List customers.

I got the same A-List email but the code looks pretty non-descript. Its $10 off $30 and is good for existing customers. I used it already so here it is, let me know if it works for you:

XXXX

(yes its just 4 Xs). Strange code!

I got NHL Hitz for PS2 for $30 - $10 = $20 + $2.25 shipping = $22.25. Good deal IMHO!

For $15, is it not worth your time?

I tried with a new user name, didn't even get to the credit card portion, yet, and it said I could not apply the $15 off coupon since it is for new users only. Anyone know the details of this?

I've also run into a few problems with the FREE15 code not working on a new account. Deleting my cookies and logging in/out seemed to cure them. Keep trying.

Sticky96 was working for $15 off $50 for new customers last week. Should still be working now.

If all I have done on Half is sell, would I be considered a "new" customer? I've been with Half for about 8 months now but never bought anything...

What qualifies as a new customer? To sign in, it asks for my ebay login. I've purchased stuff on ebay, but haven't bought anything from half.com yet.

I'm trying to use one of the two $5 off $10 coupons, but they won't work. LOVE5 returns the error that it has expired. LOVEFIVE returns the error that it is invalid.

Any ideas?

New e-mail address and new credit CC # (or just delete the one you have stored on the other accounts). Or use a 1-time CC #.

I just placed an order and LOVEFIVE and LOVE5 didn't work for me either, COOL5 did though.
