Interesting to see that during that period Adventure went from being a horror/mystery comic (Weird Adventure Comics) with the Spectre as the host(?), to seeing Aquaman start as a backup and soon after practically took over the book.

^I always loved those weird and dumb SuperBaby and son type stories like that when I stumbled across them as a kid. One of my best friend's grandparents gave me a bunch of comics, and I got to see a lot of those for that reason.
Next Crossover Reading Event - Secret Wars II (1985) - consisting of 42 issues.
Secret Wars just was the one mini-series, (though there were mentions of it here and there, I don't see where it had the full storyline crossover into complete comics like "Crisis on Infinite Earths" or "Wraith War" did) and I believe myself or others may have posted those covered before.
Summary: The entity that instigated the first Secret Wars, the Beyonder, visits Earth in search of enlightenment and inevitably comes into conflict with Earth’s superhumans and the cosmic entities that exist in the Marvel Universe.
I read the omnibus on this one not long ago and damn, it is a bizarre read. Anyway, here we go...

I believe the Secret Wars II omnibus goes for insane prices since it has been out of print for years with little chance of a new printing. Pretty much everyone agrees it's a terrible event.
Adventure Comics in the 400s usually rotated between DC's b characters with one character taking the lead over for a period. The Supergirl issues are quite popular in collecting circles. My personal favorite however is #462, which sees the Earth-2 Batman passing away.
"We can carry on his work -- you as Robin, me as the Huntress -- but the Batman is dead. Only legends live forever... not the men who make them."
