Re: Comic Book Cover Of The Day
I didn't have a Bob's Big Boy in my town, but I did briefly have a Baskin-Robbins.

Many hope Marvel/whoever owns the rights (Lucasfilm?) collects that Indy/Raiders comic in an omnibus. I think the series ran some 30 issues.

These are my copies. I bought them used way back. Not in the greatest shape but very readable.

I both hate and love that X-Men cover. It's just so nonsensical. Jean in the back dancing, Angel with a bazooka, Beast swinging off of nothing, Iceman throwing snowballs.

Both of these covers are awesome. I love the 4th wall breaking cover.
And the second one is awesome for two reasons: The Bat Signal creating the "modern" Batman logo on his chest and the old 40's/50's Batmobile which design has never been topped in my opinion. I have always loved the freaky front of it and the bat wings on the back.

And I think Jean is supposed to be using her telekinetic powers but there are no wavy lines (which is how her powers were visually depicted in the early comics) to indicate it. Maybe Kirby hadn't settled on how they were going show it when he drew the cover and never bothered to update it.

I always thought it looked like a bazooka or some kind of ray gun, but the end is closed. It's probably some kind of pole or pipe.

I have - buried somewhere - a few of these from the '70s when I went to Bob's Big Boy on a regular basis.
