Ride the Lightning!!! But I don't think Metallica wanted it to look this way.

Odd they had Dr Mid-Nite paired with Batman instead of Batman in this cover. Other than continuity that Batman of Earth 2 had passed away previously. Still seems inconsistent.

Anybody ever read this? I was curious about it since I have read the Star Wars Annotated Screenplays book.

Re: Comic Book Cover Of The Day
The comic book in question is proficiently made -- the writing and art aren't bad by any stretch -- but the early Star Wars drafts are bloated and messy affairs. I remember downloading the early Star Wars scripts from Drew's when I first got internet access and read them. The main impression I was left with is that it's a bloody miracle Star Wars turned out as good as it did. The first draft of Star Wars reads like something an intelligent and ambitious twelve year-old would write.

I had both of those issues and never noticed that.
