Man, I always loved the costumes of Jack of Hearts, Nighthawk, Hellcat, Iron Fist, Captain Marvel, Nova, Spider-woman and Valkyrie back in the day. I would've bought that issue off the shelf in a heartbeat.

At first I thought "What Lois cover?" and then remembered that sometimes Spiderbite's covers don't show up for me. I had to quote it and boom, there's the Lois cover (I could see the other three). Not sure why that happens sometimes, but now that I can see it, yes Lois is hot on that cover.

That's a great cover full of cool characters.

You obviously have wife monitoring security installed on your system.

You need:

I read a synopsis and the character's name is Dollar Bill.

Ok it's not just me that can't see some of these covers. I wonder which browser extension is blocking them.

Usually quoting his post makes the missing covers pop up for me but when I tried that with the one he posted this morning I just get a broken photo icon. But the Crisis cover he posted shows up just fine for me. Weird!

Could be the location where I pull them from may let you do hot links or may not. Who knows. I just copy and paste direct, so I have no idea. Anytime I do post something though, I can always see it. But I am not hosting the images 99% of the time. Just hotlinking them.

Here's an odd cover:

Re: Comic Book Cover Of The Day

I save the relevant photos from the web to my phone’s photo library, then upload them to the site using the little photo icon in the toolbar above the compose-post text box. As far as I know that seems to work best. When I’ve cut-paste quoted long passages of text from other sites with images included, they usually show up for me, but are sometimes missing when I revisit the thread later on, so I usually delete those even before posting.

I have the same problem with Vivaldi's browser (which I prefer), and use Firefox as a secondary because it usually will show photos and vids that VIvaldi won't.

Yup, quoting has been my work-around, too. Amazing that in 2025, with all the AI shit going on, we still have to futz around to see a gif!

Here's an odd cover:

Yeah, that's odd! I checked my Price Guide and found it was a one-shot from 1945 and had the origin of Captain Milksop!

Captain Milksop? And yeah, that's a wacky cover, I've never heard of that comic, but that makes sense if it was only a one-shot.

I am using Edge (probably one of the only few who do...but hey, it saved me at least a thousand bucks last year with the Microsoft shopping thing) and just copy and paste off the page without having to download it, upload it, blah blah blah. Fuck all that. If you can't see it, then eat it! What can I tells ya? Y'all aint worth that much time.

anyway, since I am posting again...here is another:

Kurt D hasn't put down a security deposit on the garden shed in our backyard yet, so if you manage to escape to Canada before he does, it's yours!
