Re: Comic Book Cover Of The Day
This is a super (no pun intended) rare Superman comic. Only about 200 were made for a kid's Bar Mitzvah as party favors! Here's a link to more info about it Imagine having Curt Swan draw a comic about Superman and YOU.

Damn, that's cool, I've never heard of this comic. And with Curt Swan and Angelo Torres art, not bad!

Re: Comic Book Cover Of The Day
I'm a lifelong Superman fan and collector and I hadn't heard of it until a year or two ago. I'd really like to add one to my collection, but the few times one popped up on Ebay, the cost was way out of my range.

I had one of those personalized story books when I was a kid where they drop the name of you and your friend and maybe your pet into a pre-written story. It was fun, but I wouldn't give copies out as gifts. Why would anyone who wasn't me want it?

The cover has a cool vintage-era genre paperback art style going on, I like it.

This is a great issue. The story carries over to the next issue, which is also fantastic.

Ahhh, what the heck? Why not post the next issue now?

They should have gone for a hat trick and put Dracula in the next issue!
(Maybe they did?)

Ultra rare Canadian published EC comic. There was a period in the 1950s where EC had separate editions printed and published in Canada (I don't recall the reason why) and at the time Canadian law prohibited the word "Crime" to be used on the cover of a comic book, so in Canada "Crime Suspenstories" became "Weird Suspenstories". I've never seen one for sale in the wild, these are hard to find.

I'm cheating, not a cover but a classic Graham Ingels image (from Shock Suspenstories) for Halloween!

Highly, highly recommend the hardcover compendiums (3 volumes) they've put for the Simpsons' Treehouse of Horror comics. They're affordable and look great in person.
