Wow, been awhile since I loved a Zach Snyder film.

That was great. The fact that I've read maybe 3-4 Superman comics ever and seen 3-4 Superman movies yet no TV shows or recent stuff at all and still recognized nearly all of the iterations just shows how well they've done boosting Superman's iconic moments all these years.

That was not directed by Snyder. It was directed by Jay Oliva and produced by Bruce Timm. Snyder’s name is attached as a producer because Man of Steel was coming out at the time but from everything that I’ve read, he had 0 involvement.

That makes more sense.

It's an awesome short. I believe they made something similar for Batman's anniversary.

They actually did 2 shorts and a video of the different costumes. I still prefer the Superman one and wish they had done a Batman and Wonder Woman one in the same style.

The Superman one had a small update for the 80th Anniversary 3 years ago. I love the original 75th Anniversary one. I play it all the time and shows exactly how Superman is the light of the DC Universe. It's so annoying that with the great casting of Henry Cavill, the imbeciles at helm at Warnermedia/AT&T didn't know what to do with him. I just hope that Discovery follows through on the DC reorganization with the hopes of doing Superman right this time around.

I hear it's pretty good but I'll trade wait on that if possible.

Yes! Probably DC's top book right now after Nightwing.

I read the first issue (and had to have the "slap" variant covers! ) and liked it. Have the second issue waiting for me.

This is the new Action cover variant. I like its nostalgic look.

It’s the front and back covers to The Comics Journal
