Probably in licensing heck, along with ROM. Didn't Devil's Due or someone else also make a Micronauts comic? Bug is still around, as he was an original Marvel character, though somehow he's normal sized and in the offbeat Guardians of the Galaxy (which also features a talking tree, StarLord, and Rocket Raccoon, among others.

Same here. The Micronauts were both my favorite toy and favorite comic, so I have to give them a mention whenever possible.

I was going to argue that my brief run in first place was ruined by my failure to go back, re-think, and change most of my answers; as was my plan after my rush job entry. But in reality, I likely would have changed some of these early answers, and never reached the top tiers. So my laziness gives me the opportunity to add 'briefly led a comic book sheep game' to my stellar resume.

I loved the Micronauts but every time I got a figure it broke within an hour.

Speaking of breaking within an hour, is the game going to resume today?

Yeah, what gives? Who's running this game, early Image comics?

Sorry -- I got hung up on work stuff all afternoon. I did take advantage of the spare minute hear or there to get ahead of the curve in prep work -- collating and sorting the answers. I'll post some more results when I get home tonight, which should be around 9:00 Eastern.

Re: Comic Book Sheep 2: Crisis on Infinite Sheep

I just got caught up (am I the only one without internet at work?) & I am stunned -STUNNED- that I was the only one who picked G'nort! Though I do have to admit that Abin Sur & Kilowog are both better answers. In fact, that seems to be the theme of the game so far: my answers are pretty good, but everyone else's are better. This feeling will change by at least the mid-to-late teen questions. I think the toughest was 22. Is there an obvious answer I'm forgetting?

I thought about GNort, Abin Sur, and Sinestro briefly but ultimately settled on Kilowog.

I wasn't sure about that one either. I was stuck on whether to answer Green Lantern or not - obviously a major character, though I wasn't sure whether the sheep would count the Ryan Reynolds movie (since it's not finished yet).

Anyway, I didn't answer GL - which probably guarantees its the sheep answer. I went another direction ... with an extremely popular non-superhero "mature audiences" comic character.

I didn't even think of Sinestro, but I thought he would've been a better choice than Abin Sur for the casual fan. My first thoughts on the question were Ch'p, Mogo, Arisia, Katma Tui, Tomar Re and Kilowog, and Kilowog was by far the most well known.

Well, we got at least -2 points. Unless you said some other Vertigo character, in which case I hate you.

I'll be gone for a dinner engagement for most of tonight's results and I was lamenting that I was going to miss the argument over question 15: S: Which superhero has the worst Rogue's Gallery? Then it just now occurred to me that "worst" may mean most nefarious, most evil. I took it as being the most lame villains.

Well, it's not like my standing can get that much worse.

I don't think very many, if any at all, felt "worse" meant most evil

I just figured it was a test to see who had been reading the rogues' gallery polls in this forum

I don't read the Comic Books forum.

Also... Sports Sheep 5 will be up soon. For now, I am previewing some game mechanics:

I had hoped to pull the appropriate clips for this but I just didn't have time. So instead, I refer you here:

Re: Comic Book Sheep 2: Crisis on Infinite Sheep

We had some unique answers this time around ... which would be great if this were a reverse sheep question, but not so good for a sheep question. Let's start with two that may generate some controversy.

Batdance - Prince -- brainee
Batman Theme -- Nick Danger

I assume we all agree that the Batman Theme refers to the Adam West Show and not the Keaton/Nicholson movie. Even if I'm wrong, Batdance wasn't the theme to that movie, so I say they still don't match. Brainee, Nick Danger, or anyone else -- feel free to try to persuade me otherwise.

Re: Comic Book Sheep 2: Crisis on Infinite Sheep

Here's another pair that go together but don't match:
"Superman's Song" by Crash Test Dummies -- hitman tommy
MMM…MMM…MMM by Crash Test Dummies -- ivelostr2

Once, there was a boy who
Remembered that the Crash Test Dummies
Had a song about Superman
But he couldn't quite remember the right one
And so he cost himself and hitman tommy two points each

Re: Comic Book Sheep 2: Crisis on Infinite Sheep

Just got back from the Chicago Comi-con. Had a blast. Also had a blast reading the posts here. The Jem controversy has made with the chuckles. And so far not in last place. Awesome. Id like to thank JasonF for running this game. Bravo sir.

Re: Comic Book Sheep 2: Crisis on Infinite Sheep

Other uniques:
Ninja Rap -- fumanstan

I have no idea what song this is, but nobody else said anything close to this, so ... no points.

Waiting for Superman-Flaming Lips -- Meatwad's Ghost

My knowledge of the Flaming Lips begins and ends with "She Don't Use Jelly."

Superman (the one that goes "I'm your superman") -- orangecrush
