Yesterday, I participated in the Silver Age Trivia Contest at the Chicago Comicon. One of the questions was "Name the first Green Lantern from another sector who Hal Jordan met." The answer was Tomar Re.

None of that is relevant here, but I just thought I would share it. brianluvdvd knows what I'm talking about -- he answered "Tomar Re" for this question. Unfortuantely for him, he was the only one.

I was hoping more of our players were racist.

G'nort was another unique answer. Good try, Lokimok.

Remember Yalen Gur? Anyone? Anyone? I think maxfisher thought this was a reverse sheep question when he submitted that one.

Which leaves two answers: Abin Sur Hal Jordan's predecessor and the Green Lantern who gave him his ring, or Kilowog, a character who showed up in the eighties and enjoyed a good decade or so of popularity.

Well, I stayed in the top 10 for much longer than expected. I am marking this game a W for me.

It was my first Bart Sears comic... or maybe my second, did JLE come out before that?

I couldn't decide between the two girls!

I was going to say "the bird guy" but didn't want to take the penalty by actually looking up his name (closest I could come up with was "Kanjar Ro") so I went with Sinestro. Didn't even think of Abin sur

Goddamn it! I knew that too. Stupid, stupid, stupid. Would you take my word that it ran for 400 issues on an alternate Earth, but I'm having troubles with my transdimensional teleporter so I won't be able to get the proof until after the game is finished running?
