Re: Comic Book Sheep 2: Crisis on Infinite Sheep

I would say Batman has the best rogues gallery, and at the very least, the most recognizable one.

Of course, I just remembered that some may have interpreted the question as "the most evil rogues gallery," so I guess it makes sense.

Now that I think about it, Supes has a pretty decent number of top tier threats: Luthor, Braniac, Mr. M, Parasite, and I guess Darkseid now. Doomsday and Mongul, I guess. But it gets really thin when you get down to Toyman and his ilk, especially when you compare that to Batman's enemies.

Re: Comic Book Sheep 2: Crisis on Infinite Sheep

Unfortunately, I have some meetings scheduled for this afternoon, so that will be it until tonight. I will try to start back up again around 9:00 Eastern like we did last night. At that point, I will make a final decision on Panya (so weigh in between now and then) and move forward with a few more questions. We'll save the last few questions for tomorrow, since more people seem to be around during the day (apologies to any of our players who are vampires or are located in Asia).

If nothing else, I would've thought Luthor alone would've kept people from going with Superman for that last one.

I'd like to take this opportunity to mention that I giggle stupidly at the thought of The Melter firing bolts of destruction from his dick.

Yep, that's what I did. Since nobody else made the same mistake, I can't even argue that it was a badly worded question.

Had I understood it, I would have plunked for Iron Man.

Re: Comic Book Sheep 2: Crisis on Infinite Sheep

My Daredevil answer was directly riffing off a discussion in the favorite-villains polls. The Bus is lucky he doesn't read those, I guess, and apparently neither does anyone else in this game. Iron Man is also a good answer. Superman doesn't strike me as so, but to counter his powers the creators did have to pull out some weird stuff. And the default answer is always Superman, right?

I vote that if I didn't use "the bird guy" for Tomar Re, then "the mummy guy" shouldn't qualify.

Tomar Re isn't a chick. That's orangecrush's downfall.

And Stilt Man, Purple Man, Owl, Leap Frog, Jester, etc. Kingpin I consider a borrowed character from Spider-Man. But bonus points for the really loud noises. You have a salient point there, sir.

Re: Comic Book Sheep 2: Crisis on Infinite Sheep

Bus had a prediction for this one. He thought Shadowcat and Dazzler would be the top two answers, so he went with Psylocke:

Did Bus chose wisely? Well, he did get 6 points.

Re: Comic Book Sheep 2: Crisis on Infinite Sheep

We had two unique answers. One was (I believe) incorrect.

As far as I can tell, Polaris was never a member of Claremont's X-Men. She featured prominently in a number of stories (begining with her possession by Malice and continuing through the Muir Island Saga), but never actually joined the team. This will be worth 4 points more than the most popular answer.

Re: Comic Book Sheep 2: Crisis on Infinite Sheep

Let's turn to one of the two Bus pegged as most popular:

Dazzler was indeed more popular than Psylocke (much to my surprise). She's worth 10 points.

I was also surprised by the fact that people named Dazzler more than ...

Rogue, who is worth 6 points.

I mentioned that there were two unique answers, only one of which was correct. Here she is:

Well done, Rockmjd23. For being the sole person to name Jubilee, you earn -15 points.
