Well, Saturday is always my day to camp in Hall H.

I usually plan to camp in Hall H, but programming in other areas keeps that from happening...i.e. the heroes panel on saturday morning...decisions, decisions...

Yeah.. I get to miss out on other panels, but I'm also in one of the first 3 rows in Hall H so it's a trade off.

Well, the morning hours aren't killer for hall H. it's once you start getting past 2-3 that the line starts forming around the block for the place that you're pretty much screwed.

So there's no Adult swim panels this year. Which means that it frees up the options for saturday.

Should be interesting.. just a short time till con...

I'm sure I'll see Devil around as I always do.

Well, none that they've announced yet at least....I hope they have some again this year, I've been to the ones the past few years, they are one of my favorite panels to go to.

Once they release the full schedule, Saturday will show it's true colors. They normally have the bigger Hollywood studio stuff on Saturday... but considering they're trying reduce Saturday traffic, they're spreading the wealth around to other days.

I always go in Thursdays and stay the whole day. I only go to walk the floor and buy toys and movies, I could care less about the panels.

I'll be looking to pick up a few Hasbro exclusives. And hopefully Lou Scheimer will be there to sign the last volume of my He-Man DVD's! He signed my first 3 last year.

I read that the Smallville panel would have the actress playing
Spoiler:
supergirl!

So don't forget to post pics of her there (and her name).

Man oh man... It's shaping up to be a great Con. But at the same time I hate it because I can't go to all the good stuff, so I have to make tough decisions. I'll post my itinerary once the autograph sessions are available.

Gawd, I don't know how people decide which panels they go to because of so many conflicts going on at any one time. My head would explode if presented with so many choices (while also knowing that seating isn't guaranteed for any of the panels). Good luck to all!

I'm planning to go to the event for the first time this year. I can only go on Saturday and I live in Orange County. My friend suggested I take amtrak because he said traffic will suck. Any sugggestions?

^^^ Be sure to register online early. Saturday is the busiest day and the first one to sell out. It would be a bummer to come all the way down and not be able to go in.

Amtrak is a good idea. You can jump on the trolley at the station and it's only a few stops to the convention center. There are 2 trolley stops that will drop you off at the north end and the south end.

Be prepared for LOTS of people. Seriously. It's insane on Saturday. Wear comfortable clothes/shoes and please be patient.

Quick question, since you always get your press pass, does it benefit you in going into hall h or other panels? This year I might as well abuse the company name.

Okay, looks like 4-day/3-day badge pickup on Weds is from 3:00 to 8:30. Preview Night goes from 6:00 to 9:00.

For those that want to meet at Hooters, my little group will probably pick up badges around 3:30-4:00 and then hang at Hooters until 5:30ish before we head on over. These may not be the finalized times but they should be close.

Nah.. pro-passes do diddly. I carry my company ID tho just in case, but usually it's only good for your own panel. I've only backdoored Hall H once or twice if I had to re-enter.
