I look forward to it, there are plenty of great discussions to be had thanks to the series, whether you like how it turns out or not.

In spite of being a post-apocalyptic book, it's a pretty light, quick read. Not very substantial, but entertaining. The main character (Hell Tanner) reminded me a lot of Snake Bliskin (although this came out way before Escape from New York).

Just finished the Gunslinger. So far so good as far as a setup goes. Really looking forward to seeing where this takes me.

You're in for a treat. The Drawing Of The Three is fantastic. This is the one that should really hook you into the series. Enjoy!

I didn't like it as much as "Less than Zero" but I did like it.
I've move on to "American Psycho", almost finished with it and trying to figure out what Ellis book to read next.

Princess of Landover by Terry Brooks. It is a very good book about life in a magical kingdom called Landover. It is a series so read the first 5 books before this one.

Given the Peter Carey quote, I imagine it's the UK (or maybe Australian) edition.

I'm reading the second of three books about James Potter, Harry Potter's son. FANTASTIC fanfic. Got it on the Kindle. They just
Spoiler:
killed off Arthur Weasley at 70 years old of a heart attack
. Just amazing, the third just came out, hopefully he publishes more. JKR told him he's free to give them away but she'll sue if he charges.
