Last time I did that, even though I told them when filing the return it had been opened, they hit me a 40% restocking fee.

Lowest prices I’ve seen are around $67 in the Severin / Grindhouse sales (as per the Severin thread here), so that seems pretty good. Looks like it might have gone back up though, so hopefully you had a shot at it. As for value for money, it’s not really top-tier Cushing stuff, and more of a repository for distaff things that probably wouldn’t be big sellers if and when they start selling singles. I find the Christopher Lee box sets lean in the same direction somewhat. But for a low enough price, they’re all pretty loaded.

Talking about the actual content, it's hit or miss. You really have to be a Cushing super fan for it to make sense. I'd say the average movie fan may be bored by it.

How does one find the links for these promotions?

My clumsy way is to reference an Amazon wish list, see if there's anything with a coupon, and follow the crumbtrails.

When I click on "with coupon":

Certain items have % discount coupons. Annoyingly they are “region specific”’so items might differ

https://www.amazon.com/promotion/psp/A3391AI1USBYP4?ref=_see_more&redirectAsin=B0CZMDLXVB&redirectMerchantId=ATVPDKIKX0DER&tag=blurayforum-20 https://www.amazon.com/promotion/psp/A3391AI1USBYP4?ref=_see_more&redirectAsin=B0CZMDLXVB&redirectMerchantId=ATVPDKIKX0DER&tag=blurayforum-20

That one is 30% off for Southwest . I assume you still live in HI , and for some reason Amazon considers HI part of that region.

This one is 20% off items:
https://www.amazon.com/promotion/psp/A2KV4YWDUJSAEI?ref=clp_pc_cart_collapse&redirectAsin=B089HX5KDZ&redirectMerchantId=ATVPDKIKX0DER&tag=blurayforum-20 https://www.amazon.com/promotion/psp/A2KV4YWDUJSAEI?ref=clp_pc_cart_collapse&redirectAsin=B089HX5KDZ&redirectMerchantId=ATVPDKIKX0DER&tag=blurayforum-20

For the 25% off ones google McBain Bluray (Walken film) and click the shop items part next to the coupon.

Many Arrow titles end up having coupons, so I will often do a search for Arrow Video Blu-ray. It sometimes requires some scrolling, but I will usually find some with coupons. I found it easier doing that rather than browsing my wishlist.

AND….Its not a static list either. Items keep changing (not for most part). Some drop out of the promotion and many are newly added. There’s no method to this unadvertised madness

I've seen speculation that it's based on what's overstocked at that particular warehouse, that's about the only thing that would make sense.

Some of the items seem to be universal as in I’ve seen multiple regions have the same item and coupon combo and price ( Hana Bi seems to have a 30% coupon for SW and mid Atlantic).

one thing that I think is a positive is that I think there are a lot of boutique labels on sale.

honestly , go to the “other site” and go the the Amazon coupon deals thread. Go to the last page or two. They usually have most of the up to date coupons and links.

You have to go to the movie and tv deals section first.

I forgot where you said you lived , but it might be Northwest . Or if it’s California that one you need to pick out Southwest

Why are we not allowed to mention the name of the other site? Does it start with a "b"?

No clue. But yes it’s bluray .com

But here’s a few items that seem universal and easy to find for the coupons

Cushings curiosity, Thriller (4k or regular blu) 30%

McBain 25%

murphys war 20% off

Re: Amazon: Blu-ray discounts and deals mega-thread

I got Saw X 4K from Amazon the other day. It was $14.49, which is about where I felt fine getting it. Probably won't drop under $10 for several more months or when the next movie comes out.

Anyway, there was no slip cover and the 4K case was shrink wrapped vs. Cellophane wrap. But, everything seemed fine. The disc played and the digital code was there.

Amazon Amazon

I know this isn't a BD bargain, but it's still IMO a great deal.

Blue Bloods: The complete series (14 seasons) on DVD for $58.95. It just came out in December and this is the lowest price it's been.

That's a little over $4 per season. I know most of you will probably hesitate because it's a daunting task to watch that much content.
