Target says they'll ship the 4K but they don't list it as "Possessor: Uncut", just "Possessor" (though it says "Unrated") and with no cover art. I may roll the dice, and it might be fine, and ,then again, Target might cancel it eventually. No harm, really, since it's easy to return.
The 4K definitely seems to be uncut. It’s listed as such in Blu-ray.com as well. The Blu-ray listing says not rated. It says not rated on Target too. I think you’ll be safe.

YAY! Elephant Man is back in stock !

But now Pierrot Le Fou, Blood Simple, and Claudine are all sold out.

That's the way it goes.

There should be a Criterion Flash sale either next Tuesday or the following Tuesday.

Odds are it's next Tuesday, smaller chances for tomorrow. The last 3 or 4 Oct sales have been on the 3rd Tuesday in Oct.

No word on the B&N November sale, but I'm becoming more convinced there will be at least one more sale

Re: Target deals

Yeah, but Target would be cheaper by several dollars per title in these cases.

I'm eager to check out Claudine, but I'll probably end up waiting/hoping for another Target sale down the line to get it.

Or if there is a B&N sale again, limit myself to just that title and save anything else for another T sale in 2021.

Re: Target deals

Kind of thinking about picking up the Star Wars Prequel Trilogy on 4K to go with the Original Trilogy I bought earlier in the year.

Re: Target deals

Sucks that they hide and don't backorder titles that are out of stock. I couldn't find 3 on the site that I wanted, selection in the store was almost completely wiped out also.

I came across the 4K Target exclusives for Ralph Breaks The Internet, Aladdin (2019) and the new Lion King at the same price.

Another Target 4k clearance title I spotted today was Onward, also for $10.49.

Saw these same ones today. And there were several copies. I thought I'd have to find a clearance display/shelf, but instead these were tagged in their normal spots.

I'd be all over these Disney 4k clearance titles if I was going into stores right now. I haven't been inside Target since April.

Of all the stores I visit, Target is usually the least crowded if you go during week days. They have very sparse crowds during those hours. Their stores are so spaciously designed you can visit one and barely come into contact with other shoppers. Walmarts are always crowded, day and night.

In the future, if the target site search comes up empty, search using google (title + Target). You'll get the product page that way, and there will be a button to click for "notify me when it's back in stock". Clicking those is the only thing that triggers restocking.

I had a title that came back into stock three times during the sale, and I missed it each time.
For some reason they don't re-offer titles sold out in any real quantity, but they usually do come back.

Not a good a sale as it used to be, but still one of the better ones... as long as your stuff is in-stock.

Where are these clearance UHD titles, like set on an end cap, or something? I never find these.

In a couple targets, I've found them on a shelf that is at the back and edge of the media section, an end cap, along with a bunch of other clearance stuff.

I've also found Target and Walmart to be very sparse if you go in the last half hour that the store is open.

Re: Target deals

Good advice on when to go. This summer I had a panic attack in Target, it was so crowded, and I just got out of there. It's clear from the app, though, that these clearance deals are in-store only and YMMV. Maybe I'll have to sneak in 15 minutes before close this week.

For this deal, I've seen them located in the normal 4-sided media shelving unit alongside the regular-priced stock.

Re: Target deals

Just saw at SD CAG blueray.com that there will be another buy 2 get1 free sale for movies, music, games.
Seams like only yesterday they had one of these sales. Hope this deal does not replace Targets BF deals.
*This one does include video games
Not sure if I'll buy much this sale. As they just had one + BF deals everywhere.

I still haven’t received my order from the last sale. I’ll sit this one out.

Re: Target deals

B2G1 is on again, it's for movies, music and books until tomorrow, and then the ad for next week says it'll be B2G1 for movies, music, books, video games and board games.

Re: Target deals

Thank you, I picked up some stocking stuffers. I did that thing where you order three titles of similar price in one order and then do a separate order to maximize savings. It's just a couple bucks, sure, but they always do the lesser-priced items and I wanted to avoid that.

Order #1:
$4 Doctor Sleep
$6 Spider-Man: Far From Home
$6 It: Chapter Two
$0.90 Tax
$12.90 In-Store Pick-Up Total

Order #2:
$9 Trolls: World Tour
$10 Home Alone
$7.50 Home Alone 2: Lost in New York
$1.43 Tax
$20.43 In-Store Pick-Up Total

$33.33 Cumulative Total ($34.83, saved $1.50 with two separate orders)
$5.55 Per Title ($5.81 per title without two separate orders)

Re: Target deals

Pre-orders aren't included- at least the ones I'm interested in.

That will probably be the SOP going forward now.

Re: Target deals

Yeah, I went in to it with specific intentions, but a lot of the pre-orders, -and several in-stock orders that applied last time, - aren't eligible.
