Re: Target deals

Yeah, a lot of the bigger titles I'm waiting on will surely see massive price reductions after Thanksgiving.

Re: Target deals

I ended up doing 3 $29.99 video games, but just could not make it happen on the movie end. Way too many I'm going to discount this but not that crap.

Re: Target deals

Looks like no minimum on shipping.
The 20% off coupon if you spent $50 or more on BF starts tomorrow.
Think I'll buy a few movies online today and take the family shopping tomorrow for stuff we really might need .

Is that online only or in-store too?

It did not ring up $15 for me, though they did price match their website to make it so.

Surpised. I do a lot fo shopping at Target and have never had to ask for a price match to their own site. Prices have always been the same.

That Monday deal on ST:S2 for $12.75 was indeed online only. I checked the price when I was at my local Target on Monday, and the price was $25.

Re: Target deals

Most of my shipped orders from Monday arrived today. All books. The UPS guys had to make multiple trips to his truck for all of them.

Felt bad for the him, but the amazing part of the deal was the $5 off each separate order, on top of the 15% and 5%. Books from the same series (Fantagraphics EC Artist) that I had just ordered from IST for $18 (BF)-$21 (reg discount) I was able to get here for $13.50 w/ tax, shipped.

I was also expecting to have to return most these due to condition, but only two out of the eleven had any kind of blemish. And both of those were only as imperfect as one of IST's better "hurt" books.
For the prices I paid, everything was a perfectly acceptable to flat out amazing bargain.

At some point, when I realized that the discount and automatic coupon weren't limited to just a single order, like Amazon's $5 off, I had a damn near out of body experience where I just watched myself place order after order after order. I rationalized it that, unlike Amazon, there wasn't going to be a penalty to return these to the store if I had a change of heart once they got here. Eventually I came to my senses and stopped looking for stuff more because of becoming conscious of running out of space to store them than anything else.

I'm wishing now I grabbed more while the grabbing was so good.
Not gonna see the likes of that deal again for a loooooooong time.

Re: Target deals

Well, this is a new one in all my years of collecting. My Cyber-Monday Target.com order came in and guess what? One of the BDs I received is still locked inside one of those hard plastic clamshell security cases that Target uses in stores.

Anyone have a handy way of picking the lock or getting it open? I really don't want to have to go a store and explain this mistake by Target.com.

I was angry target sent me a BD instead of the 4K I ordered so I had to go exchange it but you've got me beat. I've never seen that one.

Re: Target deals

I’ve never paid attention ... which style of lock case does Target use? You’re probably just better off taking it to the store (call them first) OR going through the plastic instead of the lock.

My experience is more like Easy’s ... received 2 movies that were supposed to be BR/DVD/Digital and they were just single disc BR. It was extremely easy reporting it through my delivery confirmation e-mail, they even said don’t bother with sending the returns back ... however I’m still waiting on the replacements.

Re: Target deals

Is it true some stores are packing a mailing out orders to satisfy online order in their direct area? If so, they want need to teach the newbies that the plastic jails come off first.

Pretty sure stores within a certain radius mail their stock out to online orders. But yeah, education on certain things would be nice.

In any case, I highly recommend buying a Dremel kit.

Re: Target deals

anyone else notice that the movie Blockers is 4 bucks right now on the Target website? blu ray dvd combo and the regular DVD of Blockers.

They're 4 bucks real cheap right now at Target for unknown reasons.

Movie must be pretty bad for a comedy or that there's some super sale going on for any movie

It's just on sale for Target's Cyber Week sale. I like Blockers. It's a pretty good movie.

Re: Target deals

^There were a bunch of Blu's on sale for $4 at Target for Cyber Monday. A lot of them are still on sale as part of the "Cyber Week" promo. If you had bought them on Cyber Monday itself, there was an additional 15% off the entire website.

Other titles include:
I Feel Pretty
The Strangers: Prey at Night
Den of Thieves
Molly's Game

There might be more

Re: Target deals

Well I ordered Blockers on Target website yesterday.

4 bucks for a new movie like Blockers. Either its still an on going "Cyber Monday" sale or that theres a little glitch that Target doesnt know about

They're still advertising Cyber Week on their website. I would expect it to go up either tomorrow or Monday

Re: Target deals

Target has a ton of B2G1 titles on sale this week online. Seems like most movies and box sets apply, including some preorders.

Re: Target deals

Anyone know if it works just like the games where you can just return the other two to get one Bluray for the cheap price?
