DVD Talk Forum - Amazon discounts and deals on Blu-ray

I've been tracking Ladyhawke since 2015 for a friend who wants it (as do I) and have been puzzled that it never went down in price. Now that it has finally started to come down I agree that it might be due to the Walmart price plus store delivery discount. I usually don't pay much attention to single movie titles until they get below $10, although I haven't a clue whether Ladyhawke will keep falling in price or bounce back up to $18.

Justice League Unlimited is now down to $15.13, this will mark my 6th reorder/cancellation. I missed out on UHF though, was trying to play the game and its now back to $13.35...was all the way down to $10.62 I believe. Should have went for it at that point. Oh well.

You should keep checking. They Live By Night briefly went up to $27 before going back to below $16.

Prices continue to creep downward even when they go out of stock. I was sure that Amazon would raise them back up today.

Oh, UHF has been on my Amazon Wish List for a couple of years...I've just been lazy in getting it. Unfortunately, still at $13.35.

Dick Tracy - $5.31

Some of my stuff has shipped so no more canceling and reordering unless I refuse package. Amazon combined orders of single blu rays so that is not likely.

If its not shipped yet, you can still cancel it even though the order is partially fulfilled. You should see the cancel option on your order history

Here are a couple of oddball discs that have been trending downwards for a few days now and are at all time lows.

Venture Bros Season Six, now down to $16.38. $15 is my sweet spot, but I don't know if it is going to make it. I'll continue to watch.

Then we have the Shout double feature of the Hot Spot/Killing Me Softly. It's also been trending downwards for about a week, and is down to $11.19 which is quite a bit decline from the almost $20 it was when released.

Thanks for the information. Yes I know you can request to cancel an item after it has entered the soon to ship stage. Sometimes you are successful and sometimes you get an e-mail stating they are unable to cancel item but you can refuse delivery.
