Assume that all of these are available to all customers unless specifically listed as member only like the Welcome Package. Also remember that any preliminary codes are just that and BN could pull it, change the details or exclusions anything prior to release so always a bit of YMMV until the final release date

Mini FAQ
Coupons should not work for PREORDERS , Nook, Legos, Rosetta Stone, Digital, Gift Cards, Memberships, etc. There are glitches where sometimes an excluded item will be allowed but assume that is the exception to the rule

Max 3 GC on a single online order.
Online only a single code can be applied to an order

Online ordered items can returned to a local store unless it's classified as a web-only item then it's at the store's discretion to accept

Isn't JCVD worried about his character from Timecop and from Bloodsport coming into contact with each other?

So they're basically giving everything a re-encode with a better algorithm and calling it a 'signature' edition. 'Night of the Grizzly' hardly warrants a signature treatment. This is just acknowledgment of their substandard prior releases, if anything

I also remember Burn Notice being a pretty terrible-looking show in HD.

Scrooged is $5.00.

Appears it may be a match of Walmart.com. And even there I wonder if it's supposed to be that price. There are 2 options, one more expensive than the other.

It's probably a price mistake, so act fast of you want it. The preorder for The Secret Life of Pets 3D is currently $19.99 on Amazon.

Luckily Walmart offered free shipping on this without having to go in store.

Yeah, if they'd lose the sales tax & lower the free ship threshold, Amazon would get most of my business.

I am pissed because Amazon is about to start charging tax in Alabama on November 1st. It will likely affect my spend habits with them now.

Only in the short run, believe me. I was the same way when they started charging ST in CA, in a few months my buying habits were back to how they were.

very true. There are far more bargains on Amazon.uk and Amazon.de and those two sites get more of my media money than Amazon.com. I hope most media junkies keep a more regular tab on these two site offerings. Just this morning, I finally bought Region Free Mad Max: Fury Road 3D for $14.50 shipped from Amazon.uk (Amazon.com still wants $32 for it)

It has changed my buying habits for sure. My sweet spot was always $9.99. Now w/ the taxes... it's like $9.10 or whatever. I am not a fan of buying some on sale BD for more than 10 bucks. Now it's very specific to what I buy. Luckily... a lot of stuff does go cheap.

I buy SOME BDs at higher prices but that all depends on some type of factor. Whether I really really want it. It's going to be gone quick and never seen again or something. Or.. maybe I'm tired of waiting for it to go down and they wore me down.

Re: Amazon discounts and deals on Blu-ray

I give a lot more business to Target and Best Buy now that Amazon's prices aren't that great and having to pay tax. Best Buy and Target have come a long way with great prices and reasonably fast shipping. I don't feel like I should reward Amazon for just price matching these other stores.

I don't resent Amazon on the tax; that's an issue with the USA gvt.
As Amazon started in my state, I am used to it; I often buy from 3rd party sellers to avoid the tax; but then there is no free or combined shipping; about the only area ebay is superior to Amazon for consumers.

I do blame Amazon to raising the free shipping threshold to amongst the highest of the large companies (& no, I don't wish to spend money on prime).

Unfortunately, most of the big box stores have a physical location in my state, so other then DD (who I despise on moral principle) & a few other internet only retailers, almost every store hits me on sales tax (& it's just barely under 10% here).

I do tend to use Amazon.UK at times; the exchange rate is great at the moment; though as I've posted previously, Amazon.UK adds around 4% & my Visa debit card is very unpredictable as to what they're going to add, which causes me to hesitate unless something's an omg good deal.

For music & German films, Grooves (I think out of Switzerland) has some very good deals at times.

I have moved 90% of my media purchases away from Amazon.com over the past five years. Even eBay is a more competitive site for media pricing.
