Assume that all of these are available to all customers unless specifically listed as member only like the Welcome Package. Also remember that any preliminary codes are just that and BN could pull it, change the details or exclusions anything prior to release so always a bit of YMMV until the final release date

Mini FAQ
Coupons should not work for PREORDERS , Nook, Legos, Rosetta Stone, Digital, Gift Cards, Memberships, etc. There are glitches where sometimes an excluded item will be allowed but assume that is the exception to the rule
Free Shipping is $25 (before tax/shipping) or with membership.
Max 3 GC on a single online order.
Online only a single code can be applied to an order
Return period is 14 days after delivery (possibly 30 days for members though I've never tried)
Online ordered items can returned to a local store unless it's classified as a web-only item then it's at the store's discretion to accept
The long standing Free 60 day Trial Offer was discontinued in late May 2016

Also The Pacific at $14.99. While it's not as strong as Band of Brothers it's still pretty good. Note that it *doesn't* come with a digital copy as does BoB. Also... BoB is currently a "Prime Member Exclusive" while The Pacific isn't, at least for now.

I was just about to head to Best Buy (and I was looking for an excuse not to, as its been a long day) and I decided to check one more time on "Band" at Amazon. However, the layout's a little confusing when you're trying to get the 14.99 price.

If you like the series enough, want a remastered picture and great HD sound, and don't mind the price, than yes.

What if you have that tin set unopened, and the BD tin set unopened? I'm so weak....

Don't know if anybody is interested but Amazon lowered the price of Childhood's End to $16.99 ($13.99 for DVD), don't know for how long.

I haven't watched it yet myself, I need to time it where I can devote 246 minutes in a relatively short period of time, I don't like to drag these out.

I'd read other reviews which weren't so forgiving of the changes in the series. After reading Glen's review I'm reconsidering a purchase as he's usually in sync with what I like to watch and has many of the same opinions as do I. Basically - one of my trusted reviewers. I don't know how I missed finding his when looking for reviews on the series.

Re: Amazon discounts and deals on Blu-ray

Honestly, I found Sin City: Dame well worth the money and I bought it a couple of weeks after release (somewhere between $12-$15 I think). No, it's not the first one but it was enjoyable enough to make me not regret it. $4 would have been a steal.

It seems like it. I paid $4 for the digital copy a couple of months ago. If only I had waited. haha
