For one pound more they're also selling the Batman Anthology, with the first four original films. I don't know much about them since I only care about Batman (1989).

You can usually find the Batman 4 pack that has all of the extras and (from what I understand) has the same discs for around $15 or less stateside. Right now it is around $18 at amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Film-Favorites...=batman+4+pack

Yep.

Currently 42% off--I could see Amazon going slightly lower, but I don't expect a Warner/Fox type of 70% off deal.

Coupons as previously mentioned could be a good way to go. I tend not to bother with them myself.

Finally pulled the trigger on Police Academy. It's nice they have a Priority Global shipping for Amazon UK now. What's not so nice is it's $30. No thanks:)

I was able to obtain the Police Academy set from Amazon's US website for $25 from a third party vendor that had fulfillment from Amazon. Of course, this was late last year, but you might still get lucky.

Police Academy says Region B/2. Is that a thing? I thought Blu's were region free.

Nope, there are Region A,B,C's for blu ray's. Just as there were region 1,2,3...same as DVD. Amazon UK usually defaults the descriptions of the blu rays to say they're Region B since that what the typical UK region is. But several movies are region free.

The entire set is region-free. Amazon's descriptions of technical specifications should be taken with a grain of salt.
